The hotel has a retro style, and the elevators especially look like those in movies from the last century. If you like this style, you may want to consider it. The facilities are a bit outdated. The hotel is in a good location. It is at the end of a commercial pedestrian street and there are many shops around it.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Aarhus. Staff was charming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Our suite was stupendous. Highly recommend.

Unless you want to stay in a construction site - avoid. Understand hotels need to renovate but to sell a room with the hotel surroundings in their current state is simply unacceptable. Concerns conveyed to management on several occassions during the stay - the compensatory offer of a free future stay was not acceptable given the potential cost of additional air fares from home to Aarhus. What really galled was an attempt to steer me towards ******* as being responsible for a refund rather than the hotel - in hindsight being asked to pay my hotel bill in full on check-in should have been a hint of problems to come. Hotel management now appearing to ignore emails to settle this appalling experience to my satisfaction. In short - the room should never have been sold, and some very underhand management practices at this hotel

It was an experience to spend the night at the fine hotel, and everything was absolutely perfect. If I have to put my finger on something, it was a bit of a hassle to find out how to set the shower.

Our stay was on many good, but there was constant noise in the room from a defective fan or pump located in the courtyard. It made so much noise that it was difficult to sleep. We played an audio file we recorded for the receptionist, who apologized profusely,
