Quiet clean comfortable beautiful . Right along all the trail sides, the beds are so comfy after a long day of rapids, hiking or riding. Wonderful price, will be our new go to spot. Everyone was so kind, and the cabins are adorable. This is a must see place

The location is great! It has a rural feel, the cabins are cozy, comfortable and clean! Everything you need for great stay! We have stayed here multiple times, and they are pet friendly!! We would highly recommend Abbot Trailside!! Charles and Dana

Such a great place to stay! Right on the rail bed trails and the cabins are lovely and well equipped. Matt the host could not be nicer and more accommodating, I arrived and realized my pot was not induction compatible and within five minutes he brought me over a pot of his own. Would stay over and over here!

Abbot Trailside is the perfect place to get a good night's rest or longer stays. Whether you're coming to the beautiful Moosehead region to hike, kayak, bike, ATV, or just plain relax, this property offers beautiful cabins or motel rooms. Clean, modern and excellent Wi-Fi if you must work. Your hosts know how to treat their guests. Rooms have AC, heat, cable, mini-fridge, complimentary Keurig coffee. Oh, and did I mention the queen beds are like sleeping on a cloud? Definitely the best lodging option around. Book online or call Abbot Trailside direct, you won't be sorry.

We stayed as a family with our twins. A nice and quiet place with very convenient access to the snowmobile trails. You can access many of the area attractions including Moosehead Lake, which has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Can’t wait to get back again!

We were expecting the cabin shown in the photos and when we got there ended up with just a room! If I had known this would have never booked it! Overpriced for what we got. Be careful booking a stay here!

Spent a long weekend at Abbot Trailside Lodging in one of their motel rooms. It was perfect for our needs and was nice and clean. Self Check in was easy and Matt was very helpful and responsive with our questions. Right on ITS trail was handy! Thanks for a great place to stay! We will definitely be back!

My recent stay at Abbot Trailside Lodging was a great experience. We arrived late, and self-check-in was so easy. After receiving confirmation of accommodations, instructions were given for access to the unit with a contact name and number should I need anything. The unit was immaculate, with fresh linens and comfortable memory foam beds. The sink is located outside the bathroom, which is made for ease when two people are getting ready for bed and early morning departure. The bathroom amenities are adequate; there are thick towels, and I loved having a pump hand soap dispenser on the sink. It looked like the bathroom was recently renovated; the shower/tub unit was great, with strong pressure from the showerhead. There was an extra charging station on the bureau under the TV, which was appreciated when charging all devices. A mini refrigerator with a small freezer, coffee machine, and microwave in the unit with a small table and two chairs. I made reservations online but called directly with a few questions, and Matt was very nice and great to talk with. I was delighted with my stay and highly recommend the Abbot Trailside Lodge.

The place was just as pictured, in quiet, woodsy surroundings. The trip into Greenville was easy and uncomplicated - we went back and forth at different times of day with no problem. We had everything we needed in the cabin. We would recommend it for sure. Excellent value for the money.
