Shame there's a £10 fee for checking in early. A bit dated but clean + functional room. Friendly staff - when I asked for more milk they asked if I needed anything else topping up. Also a friendly welcome given at breakfast. Good central location.

We booked the Standard one bedroom apartment. It was on the 3rd and highest floor. Bear in mind there’s no lift so be prepare to walk up 40 stairs to the apartment. It’s not too tough but if you’re carrying heavy luggage like me, it was quite a climb. The apartment was cosy and has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a TV, dining table & sofa bed, en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave oven, kettle and even a washing machine. We had a good sleep. Union Square shopping mall and the attached Aberdeen train station and bus terminal are about 5-10 minutes walk. There’s a shortcut from behind the apartment and walk down a flight of steps at Bridge Street. Cross the road and soon you will reach the train station. Check in and out using the key box located at the building entrance. I took bus 727 from Aberdeen Airport to Union Square bus terminal. And took bus 5 to Music Hall stop (3 stops). Walk back where the bus drove past, towards Crown Street. Turn into Crown Street and look for number 77 and you will reach Crown Central Apartment. Hope this helps.

Lovely country house hotel on the southern edge of Aberdeen with easy access to city. Welcoming hotel with a very traditional feel in the main building. Bedrooms are modern and our Standard room was well equipped with a large double bed and plenty of tea coffee etc. The hotel is dog friendly for a small charge. We had lovely cooked breakfasts and continental also available. We ate breakfast in the drawing room, as dogs understandably not allowed in main restaurant. We only ate in the bar area one evening which was cosy and fast service. Friendly staff and nice touch of a Birthday platter delivered to room in recognition of a significant Birthday being celebrated.

I stayed at the hotel with my sister end of July. We’d had a spa day at Devona Spa and booked to stay at the Hotel that night as a treat. The spa was lovely but several issues with the hotel. Our room wasn’t ready when we went to checkin at about 4.40 despite checkin being 4pm. We had to wait about 10mins,no reason given why room wasn’t ready, just told our room wasn’t ready as per the system! The room we got was spacious with 2 Queens beds and quiet considering vicinity to airport. The fan in the bathroom however was on constantly,we just shut the door which dimmed the noise a bit and told reception of this issue at checkout. The main issue we had with our stay was the restaurant…I’d prebooked dinner online as part of DBB deal and mentioned my dairy allergy. This wasn’t even acknowledged by staff until I had to mention to waitress taking orders. The set DBB menu wasn’t big anyway and when she asked the chef what I could have,he marked it on the menu, there was literally no choice at all. The main was either a burger without the bun or cheese or a Vegan main course (I’m not Vegan!) or steaks that had a £10 supplement. I asked about the salmon but with seasonal veg instead of the potatoes containing dairy and was told no as the Salmon is cooked in butter!! So they couldn’t cook it another way? Totally shocked that somewhere like the Hilton would be so awful about dealing with allergies. When my sister tried to order from the set menu there was a number of things they didn’t have and didn’t have wine we wanted either! Service was terrible as well, table booked for 7.30 ,got starter at about 8.15 and waited another hour for our main. When we asked where our food was ,was told they were busy as a big coach party had been in that night, sorry but not our issue and more staff should have been on instead of the 2 waiting staff that seemed to be doing everything. Breakfast wasn’t that great either. As others have mentioned, the car parking charge of £15 is just daylight robbery. Absolutely no reason to be charging that much. Very disappointed with our stay here,I’d go back to the spa again but won’t be recommending the hotel to anyone or at least not the restaurant.

Booked this hotel whilst on a business trip to Aberdeen and usually like the Village hotel brand. The hotel itself is a modern village style hotel. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and the first experience with a staff member on reception wasn't great and a really abrupt check in. Was allocated a room on the first floor, 123. The room itself was nicely decorated and perfectly adequate. The issue came at 5:30am the next morning when incredibly loud bangs and noises were heard in the room. I thought it coild just be another guest above me getting up, but these noises continued and got louder. Then I looked at some reviews and realised I was right above the gym and multiple guest had suffered the same misfortune. The view from the window was also nonexistent and looked out directly on a small gravel area and then another wall. Hardly a great view of Aberdeen. The same staff member was on reception leading to a very unapologetic conversation regarding changing room for my final night. Was advised to sort when I returned in the evening. Thankfully a different staff member in the evening and the room was changed to a room on the 4th floor. Thankfully there was now a view, if you take out the huge gym roof. Hoping for no noise, I settled back down but then I woke at 6am and was still about to hear pumping music and the obvious sound of a gym instructor - from the 4th floor. I did have my window open for fresh air but even so - I was 4 floors up! Maybe it's an issue for all rooms facing the gym roof, not sure if the rooms the other side might have even better? Don't think I'll stay again!

Very well priced hotel by the airport compared to its competitors. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are very clean and spacious.. There is a decent bar & restaurant area. As like most hotels pretty pricey for food / drink and limited vegan, plant based option(s). Hence 4 stars!

First visit for us . 20mins wait for drinks.no steak available.potato skin starter was wrong, put back when returned they had only scraped the topping off and added the correct one and clearly reheated in a micro. One main meal didn’t arrive with others. A side of garlic bread came again heated in micro returned it and got replaced nearly after main course was finished. No Red Malbec Wine. No hurry to clear empty classes. Another table had been told that there was no pizza left! Also a table with young family when left there was food on floor and when it was set up for another 4 people the floor had not be swept. Asked to speak to the manager at end of night and he did not come near us! We had gone through to the public bar and the manager was going about there and he still did not approach us. Quality of the food was generally good but the above things I have mentioned let it down big time. Not sure if we will be back

GGuest UserStayed on 1st Oct for an overnight stay whilst visiting the P&J. The man on reception who checked us in barely spoke a word. Noticed the few couples in front getting complimentary drinks and we were not offered (oh well). Room was fine but was rather dusty, however when you pay £48 for a room I wasn’t expecting glam. Stains in the sinks & toilet, uncomfortable bed and only 1 pillow for a double bed. Once in bed realised the bedding was ripped on the underside - therefore cleaners tried to hide it. Was quite a cold sleep in the end.. Decided to grab a bite to eat down in the bar. Lady at bar forgot to put on a pizza (flavoured bread) for our table therefore one party member was left waiting an extra 25 mins when she promised “5” . Therefore we were nearly late for our show. Upon checkout again it was slow, however when checking my bank account when I had already got home, I’d been charged twice for the room even though my receipt says for 1 only. Was charged £10 for parking even though signs say £5. Was given no explanation from reception staff. Trying to contact the hotel for refund but can’t get through (not surprised). Will keep trying!! Shame because the hotel looks nice & quirky however you do get what you pay for and no more.

GGEThe small sink is so cute! !! If you catch a flight the next day, it is a good choice for classmates and parents. A 10-minute walk from the hotel to the airport is very convenient, and you can get up late in the morning. [Location] The hotel is next to Aberdeen Airport, 10 minutes away. If you enter the city, take a taxi: 01224 494949, which is about 15-20 pounds. The bus is also very convenient. It takes 727 to walk for 3 minutes, and the one-way fare is 3.5 pounds. [Health] Very clean hotel [Value for money] High value for money, newer equipment, the cheapest Courtyard hotel in the UK is 600 yuan a night (may be slightly more expensive in November, winter and summer) [wifi] Wi-Fi is free [Room size] The room size is normal, not big, but not small. Two people will not feel crowded when staying. Better than too many European Hiltons. [Parking] You can park downstairs [Service] The ladies at the front desk are so warm and tender that they can melt into their sweet smiles. When you stay in Scotland for a long time, you will have a glass heart. Because the Scottish people are too enthusiastic, London will not, and the front desk will not answer (not for the Chinese but for everyone).

GGuest UserAfter a terrible coach journey from Sheffield I was welcomed by Steve after midnight. My breakfast order was taken and I was shown to my single room No5 on the ground floor. The room was small with single bed, hanging space, draws, hairdryer, kettle & tv. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out the light. I was woken by a rattling room door. I shoved a chair against it to stop it. I heard no road noise. The shared loo & shower room was shabby but the shower was powerful hot & clean. I had clean towels everyday. Breakfast was lovely but basic (no baked beans or sausage) cheese omelet was delicious. I had fresh orange and coffee. Steve was lovely and friendly and chatted every morning. I bought a weekly bus pass and explored Aberdeen all week from this great base and will return. With a little TLC to replace light bulbs & rusty radiators i would have given 5 stars. All in all a lovely traditional B&B

This was a return visit within the week for an event as we so enjoyed first stay (rm15) . But we returned to (rm2) and we quite disappointed by a few things, so here we go. After a short time in getting ready to go out , we found the shower valves very loose on the wall ,but all still worked ok . Then no tiolet tissue/paper in the room , which was a bit frustrating as thought that would have been essential for arrival. Then having to go back up and out to front desk to request a supply of some sort . Staff were helpful and helped us out regards . On using the room door realised it would not close as there was a malfunctioning cover plate hanging off stopping door from closing , not wanting to return to front desk we just had to use the entry card to close the door properly bit of innovation needed. At one point later there are 2 very distinct black scuff marks on the cieling which could do with a cover up/paint . The next morning looking forward to having use to the coffee facilities we use before and good to have now was out of order / empty, complementary fruit bowl rather empty also and what left looking it had been there for way too long. On the whole from both visits could not have been more different. But will say the staff were very helpful in all issues so thanks to them , well done . Will we return , not sure.
