The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the center of Brisbane. The room is large, with self-service laundry and free parking. For the expensive parking fees in the city center, taking a bus to and from is also a good choice. There is a station nearby and it takes 5 minutes to walk

we were that impressed we stayed an extra night, handy location for us. Well kept clean rooms. One evening we had a excellent dinner at Rhys' Restaurant (on site)

Initial impression one of disappointment but over time the place grew on us and we enjoyed our stay and would come again. There are different types of rooms and within a particular type. Various online accommodation sites that need to be updated with info and photos be specific to room type. With that seemed to be different housekeeping arrangements. We had a 2 bedroom apartment first floor - no lift (knew that). Did rearrange (put back on leaving) chair from desk one bedroom to lounge/kitchen area as only 2 seater lounge there. Is 4 person unit - told take chair from balcony. Side table from lounge area to between single beds. Towels changed roughly 2nd daily except long weekend. Linen change and tea bags etc (not milk) replenished day 7. Had to ask for tea towel to be changed day 5. On arrival had to ask for cooking utensils, shelves for fridge be replaced and pods for coffee machine. For an apartment fridge is small (some rooms have large one). 2 hot plates (flat surface type), microwave and narrow sink. Room was clean, blackout curtains and though on road side minimal noise. Soft pillows and beds comfy. Smart TV lounge and both bedrooms. Staff mainly all friendly and helpful. Had to ask but did get toilet paper resupply etc. On site restaurant for dinner except public holiday and Sunday. Food was nice. Coffee machine visible but does not work Room service only breakfast Mon to Fri except pub hol. Clean pool. Spa not heated with very short bubble cycle. Laundry $4 a cycle Great balcony and views. Grounds clean except for bit of dirt/cig butts against a few walls. Onsite conference function rooms which did cause a parking issue one day. Lots of cafes nearby and Aldi Woolies walkable/quick drive
