The calm beach is the only positive aspect. Rooms are refurbished but poor workmanship. Check in was not very pleasant with tons of people fighting to get their rooms like tour groups. Food very mediocre and nearly everything buffet style. It is all inclusive but food quality very average and not very appealing.

What can I say, I would definitely return. I came for business but was able to enjoy my time at the hotel. Staff 10/10, rooms, lets be honest if we're here, we're just using the room to sleep. Daniel up at the front desk was extremely friendly, Daniela and Lilian the hostess were extremely friendly, waiters too.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. One of the biggest reasons we booked it was for the kayaking, but when we arrived, we were told that guests must be at least 15 years old to use the kayaks. This important restriction was never disclosed before we booked, which was very frustrating. The food was also below average, with limited variety and disappointing quality throughout our stay. On top of that, getting a reservation at the Italian restaurant was nearly impossible. It felt like there simply weren’t enough reservations available for the number of guests. Overall, this was not the relaxing all-inclusive experience we expected. Between the undisclosed kayak age restriction, poor food, and the difficulty of dining at the specialty restaurant, I can’t recommend this hotel. There are much better options available, and I’d suggest staying somewhere else if you want a more enjoyable vacation.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel. To start with, all the rooms as well as the whole hotel were recently renovated and it is really nice. The beds are super comfortable as are the pillows and the linens. The Beach is exceptional here and we were in the water for hours every day. They also have a beautiful pool which we enjoyed as well. We had dinner every night at the Italian restaurant and the lasagna is the best I have ever had. In the morning they make eggs and omelettes to order at the buffet. They also have the best French toast I ever had. People were very kind here, I have to give a shout out to some of the great employees at this hotel. Julio Cesar and Jesus at the front desk took good care of us. Lillian, who is the maître D at the Italian restaurant was great. We really liked the waiter named Tomas. I don’t remember the name of our housekeeper, but she was terrific. Miga make great eggs in the morning and was always smiling and super nice. The hotel is located in a gated and very upscale gated community called Brisas Guitarron. As far as Acapulco goes, it was incredible and very beautiful with warm water and clear seas. It has been on my bucket list forever and I was so happy to finally get to go here. People in the US are generally scared of Acapulco, but when I told people that we were traveling there, everybody’s eyes lit up. I never felt unsafe and we went to much of Acapulco. The cliff divers were amazing, having lunch at the flamingo hotel was great, going to the fort was so cool. We loved the chapel of peace. I can go on and on. Acapulco is in the middle of a Renaissance as much of it was destroyed during hurricane Otis, which was horrible. Because so much of it was destroyed, the hotels, restaurants and shopping as well as sidewalks and infrastructure are either renovated or in the process of being renovated. The people of Acapulco are so resilient and kind. Even the airport is new and super nice, much easier to fly in and out of then other places in Mexico like Cancun. I guess that covers about all the bases but this hotel as well as Acapulco in general just blew my mind. We are hoping to come back in February.

The pool was sooo hot and felt like swimming in a urine pool. Kids water area was the most refreshing water but it is in full sun most of the day. The food was so good, especially the Italian restaurant. My kids kept finding parts of rusty cans and nails on the beach. A couch was washed up in the rocks just to the side of the beach. My daughter said she saw a microwave where we couldn’t reach the bottom in the swimming area. The shower is so slippery and dangerous. Make sure you ask for extra rubber mats. I loved the smell of the honey soap and shampoo. The other vacationers were sooooooo nice and even with all the free drinks it didn’t feel like a bunch of wasted drunks…but it did seem like they were belly up to the bar just peeing in the pool all day. It’s sooo beautiful and the beds were the most comfortable beds we slept in our whole 3wk Mexico vacation. It was definitely a mixed bag…oh yeah the elevators smelled like a junior high gym or locker room with a strong mold mildew undertone. The pool bar felt understaffed with just two bartenders. I recommend taking insulated cups to get your drinks poured into so they will stay cold and you dont have to overpay in the gift shop. And get reservations for the Italian restaurant every night you can. Even if you have to wait an hour in line to make the reservation, it’s worth it! Take a hand fan to keep cool while you wait. The temp wasn’t below 80 degrees mid-June.

The SPA was amazing. Veronica comes highly recommended for your massage needs. She provided one of the best services I had had in a hotel. All employees I had contact with were very good and helpful. I have no complaints with the service. On the bad side, the air conditioning in the main building does not work. We were very uncomfortable. There is no point in trying to dress-up for a nice dinner because the sweat soaks your clothes. The hotel only had one big fan, which had to be shared between floors due to activities happening during the night. The bar at the lobby stays open after 8pm and since there was no AC or fan, our time was spent miserable while having drinks during the night. 3 nights of hell. I will not recommend this hotel if you are use to having a working AC.

Ms. Sirenia, she was the perfect waitress for us, very attentive to what ever we asked for and she spoke English as well. We hope this message brings her a much beautiful smile, as she already have. Sincerely, The Brewington’s Keith, Linda, LaKeia
