I can't quite understand the other positive reviews. Due to events in Accra, the hotels were fully booked at the time I was there, I had previously stayed in a different hotel. The room price was a whopping $190/night, but you expect something different. Positive: nice, large and clean rooms, nice bathroom/shower, 2 free bottles of water daily, room service was really good. Close to the airport. Negative: service was generally poor and inattentive (restaurant, bar with one exception). Example: I said with every order that I didn't want ice, but the glass always came with ice. By the way, the bar and restaurant close at 10 p.m. For a la carte meals, you were directed to the bar, the restaurant was apparently only intended for guests who wanted the more expensive buffet. Some of the food was served lukewarm. No guide/head waiter visible. Very bad wifi, there was a second guest network visible, but you couldn't get access to it even when you asked. The pool was promptly closed to "normal" guests for 3 days or was reserved for conference participants ("private event"). The public toilets (lobby) were not cleaned regularly. My colleague had also booked 5 days, after 3 days he was told that he had only booked 3 days and that there was no room left for him (luckily he had the original booking). Etc.
