Ledgowan feels like home…friendly staff, charmingly appointed rooms, and a warm welcome. Showers tend to run slow and wifi signal is weak but that really didn’t matter when you felt so relaxed you didn’t want to leave! AND to see the Northern Lights from the end of the driveway! Epic! A really memorable stay! Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

A slightly out of time hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very nice place, well maintained. Excellent welcome and service. Very good dinner and great breakfast.

Stopped for coffee on the way from the lake. Luxurious furnishings, beautiful, expensive decoration. Stuffed deer are everywhere. Children and animals are not allowed. Holidays for adults only. Exquisite coffee service in the lobby.

The Ledgowan Lodge Hotel is a hidden gem of a hotel nestled in between the Isle of Skye and Inverness. My friends and I arrived late and upon arrival were greatest with top-notch hospitality by Craig, the Hotel Manager. We were even greeted by wild reindeer that roam about the property. Craig went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He cooked a meat pie dinner knowing that the immediate restaurants would be closed. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, full of history, and charming. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler.

We were just driving past the lodge and dropped in on the odd chance that we might get a cup of tea. What a surprise! The a**osphere is authentic, the service professional and friendly and the morning tea delicious.

Even though the Restaurant was closed Craig was really good and made our stay memorable with us celebrating the engagement of our son and fiancé. While the food was limited it was more than adequate. Beds were a little tired but in general the hotel was clean and pleasant to be in. We had a nice stay at the hotel and if in the area may return at some point.

Hotel was a very clean ex-hunting lodge with all the grandeur of high ceilings, chandeliers and big rooms. The only issue on the one night we stayed was that their chef had left - but we were advised beforehand and decided to have the only items offered - steak pie and grilled fish. Both were excellent.
