The whole complex is absolutely in a green paradise, unfortunately it is not at all for older people or people with walking difficulties. Depending on where you get your room, you have to walk 50 to 80 stairs and of course several times a day. But if someone doesn't have a problem with that, the location is great and very quiet. About 10 km outside of Marmaris, without a car it will be expensive to get into the city by taxi. It's a 5 star hotel, but unfortunately the buffet isn't that great, although you can always find something, that's not the problem. But tourists who are used to 5 star hotels near Antalya have to make a lot of compromises. There is no afternoon buffet with cakes or snacks. Unfortunately, from the private beach you always have a direct view of a large harbor, which is not for everyone. We were happy with everything, but we were there at the end of October. In the high season it must be a disaster there, the few loungers on the narrow private beach are probably already occupied by 7 a.m. and you have the noise from the harbor all day long. As I said, any time out of season.

Pet Friendly Hotel. Hello, we left our hotel satisfied with our 2-night stay. We stayed with our pet. Upon arrival, I paid a nightly accommodation fee for our pet and a one-time room disinfection fee. There is a separate beach where you can be with your pet, but unfortunately there is no restaurant that accepts pets. You can walk with your dog anywhere in the hotel. Pros and cons of the hotel; +Food, beach, friendly staff, cleanliness ***meat is enough. -Since the hotel is located on a hill, ring services can be increased. A towel collection point close to the big beach can be added. (People don't even want to go up and down the stairs to the towel point :)). A window can be added to ventilate the rooms, leaving the door open does not allow ventilation, it is a hotel in the heart of nature. Night activities can be increased. The housefly is a bit much, but there doesn't seem to be much you can do about it. In general, it is a hotel that can be visited and stayed. Thank you Marmaris Bay Resort.

My husband and I visited Turkey for the first time and we couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. A whole busload of tourists from the Czech Republic arrived, so the entry formalities were a bit longer. However, we got a super nice, clean, functional room with a partial sea view. Upon arrival at the room, we were immediately greeted by a cat at the door. Which we welcomed as cat lovers and then bought her and her friends some goodies. The hotel staff is very polite and smiling, especially the guys from the golf carts and the cleaners (we want to thank the cleaners who took care of room number 435). The food was very varied and tasty, everyone could choose.. the best smoked fish and grilled olives. The coffee was very good. We never encountered a long queue for drinks or a coffee machine not working. The service in the main restaurant really tries and the manager supervises them. We only went to the quiet beach around 10am and we always found free sunbeds. The sea was warm with clear water and fish. We praise the bartender here. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and hope to return next year. Děkujeme za skvělou dovolenou.

Rooms, food, drinks, entertainment and location all faultless. So much to do from quiet relaxing to water sports and activities. All staff super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Bobby for taking us out for a night partying in Marmaris!

Travelled to Marmaris Bay Resort following a Marella Cruise, so we spent a week there. The resort is very hilly and very tastefully designed - the apartment blocks were discrete and blended in with the surroundings nicely. Our room was basic, but clean and roomy. The wardrobe was basically an alcove with a curtain, containing the safe. There was a TV and tea /coffee facilities. The balcony was extra large, as we were situated on a corner, and we overlooked the gardens and swimming pool / tennis court. It was very pleasant. Dining was in a large buffet restaurant that had an indoor section, undercover section and outdoors. As vegetarians, food is always a concern, but here there were sections labelled 'Vegetarian' and 'Vegan' which was good. Like most Hotels however, they still place fish and meats right next to the vegetables so that there is contamination caused when people are serving themselves. The swimming pools were very nice - one at a higher level, and one lower, and the sea was very inviting as the Hotel had it's own beach. There was entertainment every night, outdoors which was on the whole quite good. There is also a snack bar nearby which was useful. A bus stops just outside the Hotel to go into town which is 10-15 mins and is very cheap. My only criticism of the Hotel, and this may be general for Turkey, but there does not seem to be any rules concerning smoking /vaping. Although we were in a no-smoking room, the 'neighbours' next door and below smoked on the balcony, and several times as were relaxing on the balcony in the late afternoon, we had to go indoors as the smoke was so irritating. Also the restaurant was the same. There was smoking allowed everywhere except the indoor section. Smoking is bad enough when you are eating, but having someone vaping nearby and getting a facefull is unacceptable. A very nice hotel and ideal for a week, I think longer and we would have been bored.

This is a tough one because despite several faults you can see the staff on site are trying their best but cant influence change on the greater scale this hotel needs to thrive . If you want a true 5 - Star luxury experience then this is not the place for you . It’s all in the finer details to be able to offer customers a truly great 5 Star holiday and this hotel falls short of this . - Regularly running out of ice - Al a Carte Grill - awful - General dining ok but only ok - Ran out of draft beer one day - Tables not cleaned on arrival to dinner , had to find own cutlery - One meal waiter took our drinks order and after a loud verbal altercation with his “manager” came back to us to say he wasn’t allowed to bring drinks to table and we would have to visit the bar ourselves - very random ! - Zest Beach dirty , plastic all over the beach, cups , bottles . Really sad to see. - Waiters look and obviously appear stressed - Cocktails and drinks in general are pretty poor , hence why beer ran out I should imagine as only thing worth drinking . But …. Positives . - The entertainment team tried their best to keep us upbeat , water polo was fun . - The surroundings are picture perfect - When we did approach management about room issues and terrible grill experience they did sort promptly- offering us room swap and another al a Carte experience - Fish restaurant at Zest in evening was great! Would we go back - no - but we enjoyed the sun and the staff were very friendly

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful setting, amazing scenery, and very good service provided by a professional team of dedicated and hard-working people. The upkeep of the resort was flawless, especially the landscaped gardens. The standard and size of the rooms are very satisfactory, and the balconies provide an extra outdoor sitting area for absorbing the stunning scenery in the privacy of your room. In addition to this, there are plenty of sitting areas all scattered around the gardens, peaceful and rexaling spots.

Absolutely loved this hotel, the location is just beautiful, the hotel laid out over extensive grounds with rooms in small blocks of 4 and we had a fabulous view over the bay. Room was clean and comfy.excellent wifi everywhere (I was even able to FaceTime 50 metres out in the sea!) We only went to the pool once, the rest of the time we chose to go to the beach or on one of the sunbeds around the extensive promenade that runs the length of the hotel grounds, everywhere was close to the bars, restaurants and toilets. Although there was the inevitable sunbed reserving going on, we were always able to get sunbeds. The food in the main buffet was amazing, so fresh, so much choice, and different themes every mealtime, as well as the usual favourites, and a pasta bar and pizza. Everything I ate was delicious. The lunches at Zest were also really tasty, cooked to order and perfect portion sizes. The pastries made by the sweet old lady at Goslem were lovely, and the refreshing icecream served in the main bar was really nice. Good variety of cocktails, Prosecco and even an own brand baileys which was fab, local beer was good, mini bar in room stocked with soft drinks on request, bottled water available in fridges to help yourself too when needed. Evening entertainment was hit and miss, one excellent live band, but the rest was what I would call “dodgy holiday entertainment” we didn’t take part in any daytime activities, (too busy relaxing) but there was plenty on, as well as table tennis, water sports, giant chess etc in the grounds. Now for the reasons for 4 stars rather than 5. the service at the hotel was poor, they clearly don’t have sufficient staff, and those they do aren’t trained, and it’s having a huge impact. No service at sunbeds very little table service in the restaurant and the same at the bars, meaning every time you wanted a drink you had to queue, and on a bad evening at Zest, this could take 20+ minutes, which you just don’t expect. Also a lack of glasses, cups etc at both the restaurant and barsThe staff were all friendly, but you could tell they were stressed, rushed off their feet and working very long hours. The hotel, food and quality of drinks truly are 5 star, but the service is (at best) 3 stars and the owners really need to sort this, because they are losing a lot of guests. I would go back, because I loved the hotel, but I would love it more if the service across the entire resort was sorted to that you expect in a 4 star hotel.
