The facilities were old, but clean, and the kitchen and dining room were separated, making it very comfortable.
The owner couple were also very nice people.

We needed a simple, affordable place to crash for one night, and Raceway Motel did the trick! Sure, it's basic, but the price was fantastic and the location couldn't be beat.

Very friendly reception staff, nice large rooms. Not brand new, but very clean and everything is fine. Despite being close to the road, it is relatively quiet and well insulated from noise. Good beds, slept well.

The room is large and spacious. Private full kitchen is provided for your cooking. The whole room is well partitioned into sleeping area, washing room and kitchen which are all tidy and clean. The manager is friendly and can chat with you on different topics. Wifi signal is strong.

What a lovely stay this was. Close and convenient to where we needed to be the next morning. Greeted by a vary gracious host who walked us to our room (never has this happened before at similar places we stayed at). Apar**ent was just what we needed for a family of 4 & so neat and tidy. Will definitely stay again.

We drove up to Christchurch for the Killers Concert and Raceway Motel was the perfect location, so close to the arena. On top of that the room was lovely and had a Kitchenette for incase you want to cook which was a nice surprise. The staff were super friendly and welcoming too, nicest customer service experience I’ve had in a while. Would definitely come back :)
