There was no stopping the water going under the shower screen so the bathroom became flooded. Was not until the end of the shower that this was noticed. Spent considerable time mopping it up. Obviously happens a lot as you can see the wood swell and rot in the skirting boards outside the bathroom. Apart from that, it was very comfortable.

Although it didn’t look at from the outside, once inside the room it is an amazing motel. Excellent blackout curtains would mean a lot when you don’t rise before the sun, wonderful shower and water pressure. And a super comfortable bed. And the traffic noise although on a main road was undetectable, very quiet inside the room. Definitely a room to book next trip to Christchurch

The only complaint would be that the glasses in the cupboard and the microwave were too high. Managed to reach the microwave but not the glasses

The room was fresh and comfortable. The motel was
definitely better than the outside would suggest.
The room was well furnished and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was modern and sparkly clean. The kitchenette appeared to have the basics but we only used it for morning coffee.
Our room was upstairs and there was no elevator.
This is definitely better for people with a car.

Nice, clean and modern.
Had a weird layout - heavy door between two bedrooms which made it hard for children to open and get out of room - does have a door chock to use but really just an awkward add on to a room. Otherwise, great room for us as a family in transition from/to the airport.
Laundry facilities - sign says to pay however I don’t think it’s enforced as front desk was prepared to give me laundry pod and not pay and didn’t know the charges and I just handed over some change which they took. ?maybe some clarification whether clients need to pay or not.
