I found the rooms very hot at night and noisy with the prayers starting at 5 AM. One night the prayers went all night because there was a holiday. The restaurant downstairs was very nice and the breakfast was OK. OK means pretty good for Addis. Dani's Juice bar is the restaurant. The girls at the front desk were excellent as were the cleaning staff. There is a massage business on the second floor that was pretty good. You have grocery markets close by and fruit stands half a block away. The guards out front do a great job keeping the street kids away. I liked the area as many embassies are close. The power goes on and off frequently which takes out the internet. Not the hotels fault. They have a generator. The food here is far better than the Hilton which is a much fancier place. The restaurant is fairly busy which is testament to the above average food served.

Overall the property is less than average to begin with, but it’s falling apart due to years of neglect. There are mold build ups in living rooms from the shower water leak in the bathroom sipping through the wall. The showers in the bathrooms give a gas chamber vibe - very outdated and most shower heads spraying water allover the place outside the shower. Needs immediate attention.

Absolutely horrible experience, faced sexism and racism from the management will never stay at Yinm again and definitely would not recommend it. Had someone enter my room without knocking or permission while "do not disturb" sign was up.

The property is not managed well, no working showers or lights in the rooms we stayed. The maintenance staff tried their best but for no avail. Unclear is the fact that they wait for customers to complain. That is an absolute mis-management and poor hotel operation. Hallways stink badly - no idea what the hell is going on with the swear system or something else. The reception is unfriendly and they lack customer service skills. The only positive thing is the hotel staff - they made our stay feel better. Overall not worth the money they charge.
