Toms Court Hotel

Tom’s Court Hotel is located on King William Street which is the main North South thoroughfare in Adelaide CBD. It is also very close to China Town which is a few minutes walk to the north west centred around Gouger Street. The hotel has modern rooms with decent bathroom and toiletries. Limited secure parking is available at a cost of $25 but is located three streets down in Sydney Place. Alternatively one can park overnight on the street.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre, with easy access to public transport, including the free City Loop and trams nearby. The room is equipped with useful amenities such as a fridge and microwave, which made the stay more comfortable. However, the facilities are quite dated. Some fixtures, like the drawers and toilet roll holder, were damaged. The pillows were both quite high, which made them uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the soundproofing is not great, and noise from outside or neighbouring rooms can be noticeable. Overall, a convenient location with basic amenities, but the comfort and maintenance could be improved.

Second time stay in Tom Court. Extremely tidy and clean. The only option for me to stay in Adelaide.

Staff is very nice, the location was conventient, easy to take 98/99 free bus, room was spacious and with balcony, we had a wonderful stay

Brilliant place to stay comfortable n helpful staff and provided assistance. tv radio reception impossible to work out. Sadly no internet no good for guise essential food delivery

We are a family of 5 and we booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. The hotel did not give us rooms on the same floor. They said they had no idea that we were traveling together as I did not tell them we were traveling together. I answered the reservation of the 3 rooms was made under ONE booking, does it tell you we are traveling together or I was just booking the other 2 rooms for strangers .....The receptionist was speechless then, but nothing she could do as the hotel was fully booked she said. We showed up after the check in time of 2pm, but one of the rooms was not cleaned up yet and hence not ready, the other room had AC problem and also not ready. We spent 30 minutes in the reception trying to check in.... The room was noisy, after midnight bid noise came from the main door and toilet area basically every hour, waking us up in the middle of the night a few times. First I thought it was someone banging at the door, or a cleaner cleaning in the lift lobby. I opened the door but found nobody. The noise was consistent for the whole 3 nights. Other than the above, the hotel is well located and the price is reasonable. The staff at the reception are basically nice and helpful.
