The Chancellor on Currie

We stayed one night and had a very comfortable stay. The beds were large doubles, and the room was clean and well equipped with a hair dryer, coffee and tea, and toiletries. The staff were welcoming and friendly. As we couldn’t book two consecutive nights, we left our luggage the day before as we were arriving around midnight, and the staff were happy to accommodate this, which we appreciated. The location is very central and within easy walking distance of the city centre. There is also a bar with live music next to the lobby, which creates a nice atmosphere. The only downside was some noise at night from doors banging as people entered their rooms.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel, beginning with the very friendly and helpful staff at reception, who happily stored my luggage as I had arrived before check in time. The suite was very spacious and comfortable, very clean bathroom with all the amenities inc hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, etc. I had asked for a quiet room and they delivered with a suite at the end of the corridor. There is also water refilling stations at each level. Hotel is at an excellent location, everything within walking distance inc the bus stop for the airport bus and the free bus service. There is a wonderful restaurant at the hotel itself.

Location was great. Walkable distance to some attractions. Room was clean and decent size. Parking off site was good. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor was great. Location felt safe. Overall it was a value stay in a good location. There is a pancake kitchen round the corner and food was great.

Clean facility with good location. Spacious room size compared to other hotels. So easy to walk to main street. Friendly staff throughout stay.

Always stay here. Convenient m, good value and clean. Restaurant is great if you’re not wanting to venture out.

Perfect location! With a nice bar in the little street downstairs Next to everything lively Room was big but no electric plug next to bed.. a bit strange that they didn't place any when they refurbished the rooms

I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night. Location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I love the indoor pool and spa but need more time to stay specially when an event finish a bit late and need time to relax in there.
