Very British style, the room is very well decorated, and there is a radio📻! You can have an open-air dinner in the courtyard. The breakfast is rich and delicious! Excellent location. The bus stop for buses to Burton on the water, stow on the wold and Stratford upon Avon is just one-minute walk.
They are the only hotel which I stay in the UK provides slippers! And I love their heated towel racks!
Room for improvement:
One lady taking breakfast order is not friendly or helpful.
And the food they served was a bit salty for me. But taste was personal. My partner says he likes their English breakfast.

We loved our stay, the place was clean and the housekeeping was splendid. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Loved our stay! The breakfast was also top notch. We had eggs Ben and English breakfast, loved it thet it came with a black pudding

We stayed for two nights at the hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a very enjoyable stay. The room and food were very nice but the staff were exceptional.

We went to Cheltenham races and found this hotel by chance. It was idealy placed and in the centre of an extremely beautiful part of the country. The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the food was 5 star and the room was a lot larger than expected.

Only stayed one night on our”road trip” from Sheffield down to Cornwall -fabulous hotel with superb facilities.we arrived to discover we had been upgraded to one of stable rooms-really high standard -tastefully converted-really well done. Minor criticism that the fabulous sink in stunning bathroom was a tad high but that didn’t spoil anything-professional and helpful staff-would highly recommend !
