Are you a business traveller seeking a comfortable place to stay with good service at a reasonable price? Then B&B Hotel Rumlang is hard to beat. I stay here regularly and I find the value, the quality of the rooms, facilities and services very good for the price per night. I know that when I arrive here, a comfortable bed, a clean room with simple offerings, and a good nights rest is what is waiting for me. It isn't the Hilton, but that's not what I am expecting - easy access to work, quiet nights rest in a cosy atmosphere at an affordable price, is. Beautiful lake front hotel and friendly staff. Lovely view from the balconies. Rooms are clean, well-appointed and spacious. Parking is very convenience. Highly recommended, will be back for sure .

The location is very good as it is near Zurich airport. Good for late night travelers However, self-check-in may be difficult for older people.

I must say I am very satisfied with this accommodation. There’s a free shuttle van to the hotel upon arrival (just exit Arrival Door 2 and turn left, find a digital board and see the timing of each shuttle). Check-in was smooth and front desk staff was accommodating. The room has all the basic necessities except for a fridge (which is not a problem for me). The location is not far from the airport and near (around 10 minutes leisure walk) to Rumlang Train Station to connect to Zurich HB.

I’ve never been so disappointed in my entire life. Today is Christmas Eve also the date of our check in at Five, in Zurich. When we arrived there was no one to help with our luggage or valet our vehicle. So we drove away from the front of the building and proceeded to park in public parking. We carry our three checked bags and our carry ons up a hill and all the way to the lobby, for the valet attendant to finally help us with our luggage and when I mean help I loaded in on the trolly and started pushing it and he kinda of just came and took over after I was already in the building and at the reception desk. After checking in we proceeded to our room, I went to get into the shower after a long day of travel and noticed the shower wasn’t draining and the bathroom was flooding. So we called and they said they were sending someone up. After about 45 minutes and three phone calls someone finally arrived. After they messed with the drain for 15 minutes they told us we needed a new room. So now we have to wait for someone to come and bring us to our new room as they requested. They told us they already check out the room/bathroom and everything was ok. Well it wasn't, this time the shower head was spraying water all over the ceiling and of course now they have to move us to a new room again. This all took about 3 hours which completely wasted our night and our Christmas Eve, I would expect that after all this they would at least would at least buy us a dinner or put us in a better room but nothing, not even a sorry from the front desk for this horrible inconvenience on Christmas Eve. They finally room they gave us didn’t even have conditioner or an outlet for the blow dryer for my fiancé to finally shower in the 3rd same level room.

The hotel and the food are just excellent. Best place in Zurich and the vicinity. Don‘t miss!!! Location is brilliant - right in the lake.The rooms are very exquisitely decorated and the service could not be better

Good value in a great location. We walked from the train station. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast while watching pedestrians and cyclists making their way to work and school. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and strong. The young man who checked us in was 5 star. Definitely recommend.
