Lovely hotel with such pretty decor . Rooms spotlessly clean. Location great just opposite the blue domed church and a stones throw from the beach. Check in quick & efficient. Lots of tavernas within walking distance . Breakfast is included in the room rate and it is totally delicious. It’s all homemade and very fresh served by the friendliest and smiley waitress . Highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen, im Herzen Skalas, die Haus eigene Taverne lädt mit griechischen Köstlichkeiten ein. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und grosszügig gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Besitzerin gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hat uns aber das Frühstück gefallen. Im Innenhof stehen liebevolle Tische und schattige Plätzchen bereit, die zum Verweilen einladen. Das Frühstück wird von der aufmerksamen Xhejsi serviert. Die von uns die volle Punktezahl bekommt. Die Auswahl ist perfekt, hausgemachte warme Teigtaschen, frisch gebackenes Brot, selbstgemachte Marmeladen ..... Eier in allen Varianten und natürlich werden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Cappuccino .... frisch gepresster Orangensaft.... ich könnte noch länger schwärmen. Wir kommen wieder!

Despite the horrendous storm the island had suffered the night before we arrived, Saronis Hotel did everything in their power to accommodate us without a problem. They worked tirelessly to ensure that they were providing us with everything within their power despite power outage and flooding. It was out of their control. The venue was beautifully presented.

The best hotel in Agistri! We had an amazing experience during our visit in October. Kaliopi and the hotel staff are amazing and very accommodating, we were upgraded to a better room upon arrival and all of our requests were taken care of. The breakfast is incredible. You get an omlette and coffee for your choice, and every day you get a different dessert and pastry. The variety and freshness is really something else. The hotel is also located around 50 meters from Skala beach, and within a walking distance from the main street of Skala with plenty of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. We had the best time there!!!

Saronis is in a perfect location for exploring Skala and indeed the rest of the island of Agistri. The family who run this hotel are incredibly hospitable, especially Kalliopi who welcomed us and moved our baggage up to our room once it was ready for check-in. Our room had a fabulous view of the Church and the sea and had simple but elegant decor. The breakfast is renowned on Agistri for being the best on the island - you will not be disappointed.

Booked the night before for a one night stay in Agistri with hardly any research into the hotel. As such we had no expectations, we just needed a bed to rest on over night. We arrived at Mylos port and there is a Public Bus which was waiting for the ferry arrival that took us directly to Skala Town. The bus stop was directly in front of Saronis Hotel which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is extremely well kept and beautifully decorated. The room as so clean and the bathroom was spotless. Our room had a huge balcony which was very relaxing. TV, mini bar, aircon all in excellent condition. But for us the highlight was breakfast in their beautiful courtyard. Honestly we could have stayed relaxing there all day. And the breakfast at Saronis is the reason why we might even come back to Agistri! It was huge and all the dishes were delicious. We were so full, we didn’t eat again till dinner! Special mention to the young girl who was our waitress at breakfast. She was so sweet and kind. She had a lovely smile and honestly made our day.

From arrival to departure we were treated like guests in someone’s home. Clearly the host, Kalliope, puts a lot of effort into the guest experience. The highlight of which is breakfast, which is unquestionably the best we have ever had. This was all home made and served with love every morning. A mix of Greek dishes, a choice of main dish, fresh orange juice and coffee.
The hotel is very easy to find and a short walk from the ferry. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. The town beach behind the church is sandy and has an easy access into the sea with a marked swimming area.
At the hotel there are lots of quiet areas to sit, in shade or sun, and relax in the rear garden where there is also a book swap.
Please be prepared to relax, unwind and be fed with love and a smile. Thank you Kalliope and your team xx

There is a reason this is our 7th visit (over the last 4 years). Sublime service, serenity & attention to detail. You can find no other better place (or breakfast anywhere). It’s a must.
