We spent 10 wonderful days in the Kedros Villas in September and can 100% recommend this unique family-run holiday resort. The well-kept suites and villas are in a quiet location in a large, beautiful garden with cedar trees and blooming flowers. We would particularly like to mention the warmth and friendliness of Maroula, Dimitra and Anastasia. Maroula told us everything we needed to know about the hotel and the island and gave us valuable tips. Dimitra and Anastasia spoiled us every morning with a perfectly freshly prepared breakfast buffet. The quality of the food on offer is excellent, as most of it is homemade with love, and you can also enjoy a fantastic view of Naxos town. Another plus point is the in-house restaurant in the evening. The hotel chef conjures up a delicious dinner here at reasonable prices. Kedros Villas are about 4 km from Naxos town and about 3 km from the airport (no annoying aircraft noise). Maroula organized a taxi transfer for us from the port. The beautiful sandy beach of Agios Prokopios is about 1.2 km away. A bus stop with good bus connections is located near Kedros Villas. The entire complex is very quiet. The large, clean pool is great for swimming. You can relax wonderfully here. There are always enough loungers and pool beds available. We usually travel a lot on our vacation, but here you want to stay all day. We stayed in a superior villa. The villa was spotlessly clean and was cleaned every day. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom as well as a terrace in the garden, upstairs there is a kitchen-living room and a large veranda with a fantastic view of Naxos town, the mountains, the sea and the ferries arriving and departing. The beds are comfortable, we slept very well. A rental car is recommended as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity and to discover the beauty of the island. A rental car can be rented through Maroula and will then be delivered to Kedros Villas. We drove our rental car through the impressive mountain landscape to the picturesque mountain villages of Chalkio and Filoti. We also visited the numerous beautiful beaches with crystal clear sea and often drove to the picturesque old town of Naxos. Naxos is one of the greenest islands in the Cyclades, impresses with high mountains, hospitable people and beaches that are among the most beautiful in Greece. Naxos is definitely worth a trip. Many thanks to Maroula, Anastasia, Dimitra and the entire team for the wonderful stay and hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
