I love Hôtel Proteas. It’s my second time staying there. The family running it are really nice, the rooms are kept very clean, fresh bed linen every day. Nice breakfast options. Beautiful sunset view. And it is in a quieter area away from all the hustle and bustle, while still being within quick walking distance of beach, restaurants and all amenities. The rooms are simple but you have what you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette with a decent fridge, hob, kettle and sink, and a table with chairs where you can eat. Next time I go to Naxos I will stay there again.

One of the best accommodations (junior suite) we have ever had. Beautiful furnishings with everything you need, large bed with a good mattress and comfortable pillows, lots of useful little things, perfect cleaning. We have already booked again for next year :-)

Beautiful high class rooms & apar**ents. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area. Good breakfast selection. No option for evening meals. Family run & staff were so polite & attentive. 10 min walk downhill to beach & further 5 mins to great selection of bars & restaurants in the village. Regular local buses & Naxos town only 25 mins away. Cost 4 Euro return & tickets available from hotel reception. Really enjoyed our stay

The family-run Proteas Hotel is excellent in every respect. The staff are amazing - informative, helpful, warm and friendly. The location is lovely, on a hill-top overlooking the sea just outside of Agios Prokopolis. It’s only a short walk to the beach or the bus stop that will take you into Chora, the main town for just Euros 2! Everything was sparkling, with daily room cleaning. The swimming pool offered a welcome relief from the heat of the afternoon. The hotel offers breakfast and light meals, which were well prepared. The guests were quiet and the peaceful evenings on our terrace were not disturbed. We loved the place and hope to come back again someday!

Absolutely beautiful place. Run with love by Mary and Andreas supported (I think) by their parents. We had booked Sea View Suites and were absolutely blown away on arrival by quite how gorgeous both rooms were. The grounds too were picturesque though there are quite a few steps throughout. The pool is very, very deep. The shallow end is about 5' and the deep end was deeper than we could go down to. For that reason I'm not sure it would suit children too much. There were always available sun loungers around the pool, including some that never actually saw any sunshine - perfect for me! The hotel is a bit of an uphill hike from the town and the beach but it's a very manageable walk and we were able to do it each night in about 20 minutes despite being full of beer and food. Breakfasts were superb. Absolutely delicious.

We booked a 12-days stay at Proteas. The hotel and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. Our room looked exactly like the photos, was super clean, superb bathroom with a fantastic shower and a lovely terrace with a view of both sea and the mountain. We really appreciated how quiet it was, there is no music, you can only hear the birdsong and the wind ruffling the palm tree. We travelled by car and found everything, beaches, Chora and other island attractions, to be very accessible. The hotel is in walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in Naxos, Agios Prokopios Beach. Will definitely book again when we return to Naxos!

Proteas is a family-run hotel. It’s such a lovely place and everyone was so nice. The delicious breakfast was served on the terrace. We always got a place by the pool. The rooms were very clean. The bus station to the city is just a short walk away.

We spent a week in this delightful hotel in Naxos, family-run, extremely clean, well-kept, managed with love and professionalism. Large rooms, some with sea views, comfortable beds, quiet, well-kept and pleasant common areas. Convenient to eat something with fresh products from 8am to 8pm. Recommended

Excellent hotel, feels definitely more than 3 stars. Feel free to stay at proteas hotel you will not regret it. Nothing negative comes to my mind about this hotel. It's also close to agios prokopios beach whitch is one of the best beaches with nice waters.
