Agnes Water Stays over18's

What a fabulous place! We booked here for one night, while doing a sunset kayak tour at 1770. Like all other guests we spoke to, everyone wished they'd booked for longer! A little bit of perfect relaxation in a mad world. The kookaburras stole our breakfast from the shared outdoor kitchen. A kangaroo came and visited after sunset, while sitting in the same outdoor kitchen, having an evening drink. The rooms were excellent and clean. The pool area fab. I can't recommend this place enough.

Put your hand in my hand and walk with me... let me show you this amazing accommodation. You are in a residential area...but not just any residential area... this area is full of homes on large lots of land, so it retains a country feel. Follow the driveway, park... then step out and meet your hostess... she is so welcoming. Later you will meet your host and they fit so well together. They graciously welcome you into their secluded and amazingly serene accommodation units.  I have been given the room labelled Hibiscus... whilst I am tired and quite over travelling, I am immediately taken with the exquisite and tasteful furnishings. When I finally settled in for the night, after ducking out to grab something from the local pizza restaurant... it feels like home. I settle on the comfortable couch to relax before I eventually slip into a bed that is like clouds for me. I immediately want to take it home with me. :) Waking rested I slipped down the stairs out into the garden behind the pool... breakfast is included. Fresh fruit, cereal or toast. I make toast and tea and sit watching the peaceful scene in front of me... the birdlife is twittering and that is all I can hear. At that moment, I know I need to stay another night, so I knock on the door to ask if they have the room available for another night. Thank goodness for small mercies ... they do.  I go out all day exploring before finally making my way back to eat leftover pizza and having the most restful night. When I slip down to breakfast the next day there is a couple already in the area, quite mesmerised that there is a large kangaroo nearby. Whilst it's aware of us, it doesn't leave the area. I sat in this serene location having found it restful, with wonderful hosts...it was my favourite place to stay on my roadtrip in the area.  Thank you for making my visit special... simply by doing what you do so well.

We spent three nights here and enjoyed it immensely. The cabin was modern, comfortable with an excellent bathroom, bed, sofa and large screen smart TV. The grounds are excellent to walk around with a large dam, plenty of areas to sit and relax. The breakfast area was next to the pool and it was a full continental. The owners, Sally and Loz, were very friendly and nothing was too much to make our stay enjoyable. Just 5 minute drive to the centre and only 2 minutes to the Paperbark trail and the Red Rock trail.

If you have never been to Agnes Waters, there are properties near the beach then lots of properties on acreage out the back. This one was out the back, sort of a cross between a bnb and a farm stay without the animals. Set on about 10 acres only about 10 mins to the beach, it is a quiet, tranquil setting. No kids, no dogs. A few cabins located around a central pool/kitchen area. Warm greetings met us as the owner gave us a short tour around then showed us to our room. It was a very relaxed, easy going experience. The room consisting of the bed, small lounge area and bathroom. It was modern and very nicely appointed. I must admit I gave a Wow! Water is on tank there so must be watched and I probably wasted more than I used getting the shower right but oh what a shower. Fantastic, and I could have stayed under much longer very easily. Air-cond room plus fan made the room very cool and pleasant, with sleeping a breeze especially in that dreamy king bed. Continental help yourself breakfast in the morning in the outside kitchen plus cooking facilities if you wanted to cook something for dinner the previous night. A pleasant stay, a picturesque dam at rear and hammock to laze away the afternoons.

Beautiful, modern rooms, stunning grounds, lots to choose from with the breakfast, lovely pool. Privacy was perfect yet could be inclusive with others if you wish. The pond area was exquisite and embraced nature. We had breakfast with some friendly Kookaburras....We loved everything......
