Epsilon the Hotel

On the day of checkin, at the reception desk, they informed that they wont be able to provide rooms although booking was done two months back. This is how irresponsible they authority is. When I pleaded, they provided my family room for that night only. But I had booking for two other days, which they did not provide. Yes they returned money, but returning money is not a solution. The pain of finding a new place for accomodation for my family at the eleventh hours can't be expressed in words, and that was only because of the irresponsible authority of this hotel.

The hotel was recommended by a relative who had visited when it opened last year. Having stayed in the hotel, I was disappointed by its admin and lack of customer care not to mention poor standard of bathroom facilities. In detail, when I booked the room from UK using ***********, I had expectation of paying in full either upon arrival or on exit using my local currency card. Instead the hotel debited my UK card used on booking in full 3 days before my arrival. When I questioned this, I was simply told, hotel policy to minmise hotel loss. Surely if I did not turn up, they can charge my card, isn't that why there is an authorised card in place? Why charge it in advance? Having got in the room after a long journey, I noticed that whilst the standard of the room (very small and compact) was acceptable for the price, I was not happy to see that I would need to stand or sit on the toilet seat to have a shower! The toilet is right next to the shower with no divider. The shower head was visibly naked and loose. In other words not fit for purpose. I went to the reception and requested that either the shower is fixed or my room be changed whilst I went out for dinner. Upon return, they did neither. Just ignored me. Very unhappy.

Situated in the centre of the city with easy accessible to commercial hubs, riverfront, educational institutes, etc. makes it a perfect venue for conferences and seminars with attendees from city and outstation. Very co-operative and understanding staff. Limited food options being a small hotel but quality definitely good.
