First arrival, was told that housekeeping had called in sick, but they knew which rooms had already been cleaned. They claimed this would be a free upgrade. They gave us the room key and we went to the room. This had a king bed and jacuzzi. Our first trip to the bathroom, was when we discovered cockroaches that had died on the floor and inside the bathtub. Since we had already paid for the room and there was no housekeeping, I cleaned up the bathroom myself. We go to Aiken often, but we will never stay here again.

This location is just a few blocks from family I visit in Aiken a few times a year. The price is affordable for me, as I am retired & on a fixed income. The room was clean, but a few of the units need the carpet cleaned.

Checking in was great, the female behind the counter was great. My friend and I were in town to go hunting the next morning very early. So we asked about breakfast sandwiches or coffee being made early so that we could get something. The female behind the counter answered everything and told use she would leave a note for the night guy. Well the night guy didn't make the coffee, or set out the sandwiches, or muffins. He stated he never got the message or note. It didn't start the day off on the right foot. Good thing the metro diner is right next to the motel, because we got breakfast sandwiches there, after eating dinner, to cover our butts. The room was a typical double bed room, it did it's job. Gave us a place to sleep until 3am.

I like the location of the hotel. It was clean, comfortable & spacious, but my heater did now work in the room. I am from Florida & was cold. I did let staff know this morning.

I would never stay in this place ever again out of town for a funeral for a family with my young child and they were roaches literally everywhere in the sheets on the walls. The bathroom was disgusting. The walls were nearly falling apart. I truly hope they shut this place that

This hotel should be closed until fumigated and restored. I had to leave the hotel after the first of four nights I prepaid for. I was moved to 3 different rooms and there were many roaches in all. The walls had black dots of bugs’ excrement everywhere and small roaches crawling on the bed linen and the carpet. I opted for this hoteI trusting the brand Howard Johnson by Wyndham and the “good reviews” in *******. This hotel is undoubtly a health hazard. Ms. Brexton at the front desk on the 21st of September when I checked in was very kind, helpful
and apologized for the situation which was certainly beyond her control.

It was ok in the beginning the longer I'm here the much bader it becomes but I dont got no were to go but her it could be wasted than what it is so I thank God for it so have a good Thanksgiving happy Christmas and new year's
