The hotel is taking care of, clean and crispy, staff is superefficient, all the little technical niceties are there (oops, even the internet is working perfectly). Basically it's a family thing with very high standards. The place is about 20klm off the highway, but really you are in the middle of nowhere. With quite a few places with regional or farm stuff around. Good alternative if on the way from the nord to the south and you can't decide between staying in Lyon or Dijon, because of bad experiences in both of those. Biggest catch: the restaurant is fantastic. And all is cheap. PS: try to get room 24. it has a small terrace, but it is really a cute room. I had worse Junior suits in Paris! It will cost you some more. It's worth it. I gave my best smile to the lady at the reception to get it for free. I wish all of you better luck! :)

Bonjour Cadre magnifique avec en plus le décors de Noël, très beau !, de jour et encore plus, la nuit. L'accueil est très chaleureux, la chambre impeccable, grand lit confortable, complète en équipements. Grand calme la nuit. Parking privé sans problème pour la voiture. Le repas au restaurant ,un régal !, concocté par la chef de renom, avec ses petits mélanges éxotiques, dont elle a le secret, c'est délicieux. Avons été très choyés au service, par un personnel sur mesure, pas de fausses notes, pas d'attente, très disponible malgré l'affluence d'avant Noël. Le petit déjeuner plus que copieux, abondant, grand choix, à volonté , Le top pour un soir étape. L'addition est très très raisonnable. The day was hot and the welcome was warm. Shortly afterwards I was in a nice clean room - almost straight away I had a thirst quenching welcome drink in the garden which is the highlight of this hotel - a airy peaceful spot to relax away from the traffic sounds outside. I went to the restaurant for dinner. Menu looked promising and wine carte was ample I took a bottle of localish wine. Starter arrived and looked fantastic, pity rather than a drizzle of dressing the salad leaves were drenched. I usually find that the French menu sounds really good and the English translation does not really match. Sautéed potatoes with French - cooked potatoes in English just doesn't make it very appetising. However much to my surprise the English translation was in fact correct the chef obviously didn't know how to make sautéed postatioes and what arrived was oven cooked potatoes - just a Little thing... The three waitresses in the restaurant did a wonderful job of trying to look after the guests - but might have benefited from some more support, and guidance, from the Gentleman in charge. My sleep was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast managed by AVA was wonderful I felt welcome and found everything I wanted easily, this was well organised and managed with tables cleared quickly and made a great start to the day. Whilst taking out lagged I tripped on a loose paving slab just outside of the main entrance, fortunately regained my balance - could have been disastrous !! When I checked out I was not asked how my stay was just presented a bill to pay and this was quite cold, almost the opposite of arrival. I might have been given a chance to mention a couple of things but I guess this Mercure prefers feedback afterwards

The room was very clean and very clean. Just the floor bathroom and the shower it's not very practical ( water that goes everywhere ) and it's a little dirty with the gardens, etc ... Check out. Sinon top ! Lady à l'accueil très gentille.
