It’s a great place to stay, we’ve been going there for 12 years (apart from Covid ones). The rooms are beautiful, the food is great, the owner and staff are welcoming and know their job. It’s always a pleasure to introduce others to the place. It’s also very convenient for the National Park and other tourist destinations.

Great spot for great food and drinks - I've been using the Wellington Heifer for a good few years to eat out but used it for the first time for a business stay over and meal with colleagues. The rooms were really well presented and very clean, the food was superb and the a**osphere was really inviting. Couldn't have wished for a better evening to be fair and then we got Breakfast. As per normal it was excellent, plentiful, great produce and extremely well cooked and presented. Ample parking too. 10/10 from me.

Stayed here several times, clean rooms, great food and friendly staff. Well placed for visiting Northallerton and the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

So accommodating with my delayed arrival time due to the train strikes. Thank you Rob and Meghan, quiet Sunday night before a teaching day at the local school- wish I had got there earlier to sample the evening food as breakfast was yummy, room clean and tidy, bed comfy and now trying to think about another excuse to go Northallerton and take the family.

Stayed overnight on Wednesday, 3rd April 2024. Very clean accommodation. Lovely evening meal, excellent service from friendly staff. Perfect full English breakfast. Rob the host could not be more accommodating. Will defiantly stay again.

We stayed one night n this family run pub. Had a lovely meal in the evening and a nice freshly cooked breakfast the following morning. Great location to visit the great Yorkshire countryside by car. They will definitely see us again when we visit Yorkshire next time.

Rob and his team always go out of their way to accommodate. We wanted to host a family and close friends birthday celebration for 16 guests. The service and meal both excellent as always. We stayed overnight in a very comfortable room. Had a super cooked breakfast before we departed.

We have stayed at the WH many times+ it is always excellent food + service.The early menu is excellent value. We have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly+ helpful. Lovely country pub with great a**osphere. The rooms are decorated to a high standard with fresh milk+ tea + coffee, biscuits.
