Stables Inn, Aintree

The hotel is perfectly fine for what we needed (i.e. a base and somewhere to put our heads down). I would personally say it could do with some modernisation though as it looks a bit tired in places. Could also do with additional plug sockets as the only ones are on the wall furthest away from the bed. I'd happily stay again though as the location is great, with plenty of parking and close enough to the city but much cheaper than central Liverpool.

Very good hotel. Rooms spacious comfortable and very clean. Location excellent for racecourse and station for city centre only 5 minutes walk.

Recently stayed here for the grand national and it was extremely comfortable and pleasant. All staff I encountered were friendly and polite. Short walk to the industrial estate which had food restaurants and shops. Handy location for taxis and local buses to get into town centre

I have been using this hotel for a long time and it is always like coming home. The staff are so friendly they seem like family, and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, the peace and quiet and the ease and no-nonsense of the whole place are delights I always look forward to. Who wants a more fashionable, so-called "boutique hotel" when they can enjoy proper comfort and quality without the unnecessary frills here? Thank you, Stables Inn.

Stayed for 2 nights during Grand National meeting. All staff members very polite and welcoming. Room spotless and extremely quiet considering the closeness to the racecourse. Toby next door for breakfast or evening cavary. Really enjoyed the stay.

I stayed at this hotel in April with my family for my son’s 18th birthday. On leaving the hotel on the 4th that evening to go out I asked a girl on reception to put tea bags in my room . The next morning I was getting ready and noticed my Chanel Bronzer costing £48 was stolen from my room . It was 100% in my room before she entered the room . I made a complaint to the receptionist who was not the most helpful & said they would look in to it . They denied it was stolen . I never loose anything and don’t take my make up out with me there was only myself and my 18 year old son in that room . This ruined my stay in Liverpool please do not stay at this hotel as your belongings will suddenly disappear !!

Stayed here for a little over a week whilst my wife was being treated in Aintree hospital, its a fairly short and pleasant walk from here to the hospital passing by a B&M, Lidl supermarket and a few food restaurants and late night convenience stores for drinks, snacks and the like. The staff in the hotel were extremely polite, helpful and all round brilliant for advice, questions and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is also right next to a Toby Carvery restaurant and KFC, Toby serves breakfast buffet from 8am. The hotel is also within close proximity to a railway station making it quite easy for a trip to Liverpool city centre. Aintree retail park is also very close (within walking distance) to the hotel and offers plenty more eating and shopping options. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, for price and quality it's one of the best hotels i've stayed in. very highly recommended!

Stay here every time I visit Liverpool. Usually come up with a friend as we are here for the football. This time came up with my wife to sightsee, shop and dine. It’s a 15 minute drive from the centre or less than a tenner in a cab. Just off the M57 so easy to navigate to and includes free parking. Perfect.

We booked the Stables based on price and availability for an event elsewhere in Liverpool. Our room was clean and functional and i feel was good value for money. Television and standard kettle with Tea, coffee etc in the room and food requirements can be easily met by the Toby carvery right on the doorstep next door. Parking is easy and safe and gives level access to the reception. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and efficient. Thanks!
