The walk up to Resort is steep, so be prepared especially in the heat, There is an airport bus that drops you at the entrance to resort. We were on the 3rd floor so i think 32 steps to climb, and i don't think there are any lifts to use as i didn't see any I have bad knees so wasn't great for me but i liked the exercise, The room was average the fan was falling out of the ceiling, but the staff were fast at having it changed that day, It's the cheapest resort around, Ive heard, but needs a lot of renovation, There is a kitchenette, in the room and does have cooking facilities, just a kettle, and microwave. Bar is not part of the resort it's owned by someone else but the meals are great, pool n spa are great Washing you need to go down another 3 parts stairs, which is to the bottom level of hotel you need coins for washing We hired a car and at times we had to park in the street, due to being to many guest or people parking in a spot that were not allowed I'm not sure, as for visiting the bar, maybe, View is so breathtaking, watch out for the cocky's they can bite as i got bitten, they expect food all the time. Over all i don't think i would stay here again, just need so much renovations, but the staff are lovely. Its close to the main street, which has great shopping, Safeways which is at the end of the street. i loved Airleys Beach, its beautiful, but very muggy in March.
