The Tartan House B & B

My wife and I stayed four nights in the King Suite a little more than a month ago. We've been so busy raving to our friends about the wonderful accommodations, the incredibly delicious (and filling) breakfasts, our graciously welcoming host, Marion, and her delightfully friendly Bernadoodle, Piper, that we neglected posting a review until now. This is so much more than a place to stay - it's a complete experience. Highly recommended!

The service was friendly and warm. The ambiance was cozy with splashes of Scottish pride. You are seated in your own room with 2 hours to enjoy your time. The food was all homemade on site. I would highly recommend this local spot!

The "garden" part is a patio off the lobby with lots of hanging baskets etc., perfect for reading or a snack. This is a quality building in a good spot and quite quiet. As with most of Canada, very clean, well lit etc. I only stayed one night so I cannot say anything about room service, however other hotels seem to be using the "covid" card to do away with housekeeping.

We ordered High Tea for take out for the second time in a few months, and it is truly AMAZING!!! Everything is so fresh and tastes so good. We can’t wait for restrictions to be lifted to experience high tea in person! As a Brit, I consider myself extra critical of tea, haha, but after visiting many of the big hotels in Toronto over the years, I can honestly say I would take this one ten times over!
