Good accommodation, beautiful room, has indoor and outdoor onsen, breakfast is a set of Japanese food, and the hotel is near the mountain center skiing point, there is a hotel shuttle bus.
There are no shops or restaurants around the hotel. You must eat in the hotel. Or make it yourself in the guest room kitchen. Or you can walk to eat at the club med restaurant nearby.
And the hotel has a bus to walk to Otaru but must be reserved 1 day in advance.

Not cost-effective, the price is 34,000 for two nights. There is no meal. It gets dark at 4 o'clock near the key point. There is nothing to eat at 4:30. I can only eat from the hotel. I walked around and couldn't find anything to eat at 5 o'clock.
The heating in the room couldn't be turned off, and it kept spraying very hot skin, causing a nosebleed! It was only after I checked out that I discovered there was a driver's cab.
There are many Thai people staying in the hot springs, and they all have tattoos. When they come, we leave.

We stayed at Yu Kiroro for one week and it was the best vacation my family could have asked for! You definitely need a car if you will be staying here and there’s plenty of parking for guests outside and near the hotel across the street. The entrance is very welcoming and we felt at home right away. When you check in, each guest receives a complementary parfait and one access to private onsen. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with dish-washer, oven, microwave, and a massive fridge so we simply bought groceries when we felt like staying in at a local supermarket (I recommend TRIAL). The bathrooms were also very nice with room and floor heating so your feet won’t get cold in the morning. The sheets were crisp and clean and the massive window in each room had an amazing view and sunlight on a good day. The restaurant within the hotel was very affordable yet served high quality food with great view of nature. They also offer family friendly activities such as horse riding, morning walks, and outdoor bbq. Overall, it was a great experience to escape from the city to relax and go to onsen every night before it closes at 12 am. They are also very reasonable with room keeping and respectful with our privacy and time as we stayed in a lot. This place is a must try, and we will definitely go back especially in winter! Ask for Alan when you need help and their team will definitely make your stay a memorable one!

Great experience. It is summertime so it took a 20-minute drive to visit near cities but it will be an advantage in winter for ski.
