Ramada Resort by Wyndham Akbuk - All Inclusive

Clean and comfortable rooms. Buffet is good and varied, but food generally not quite hot enough. Main problem is the noise. The entertainment is very loud. We sat by the pool and music struck up at full volume and a young chap started dancing in front of our sunbeds. There were no children in the vicinity and no one was engaging with him. We had to leave for fear our eardrums would burst. Behind our room is a farm where goats have tinkly bells, peacocks scream and dogs bark when the numerous wild boars arrive... so many everywhere in the evening. This plus the loud entertainment which seems louder in our room does not make for much peace. Had lovely turkish bath and meal in beach resturant was a treat. Struggled with the wine, but the red (not our usual tipple) is not too bad. Nice quaint resort with good promanade along to other side of bay (4 miles) where there is a small peninsula to wade out to. Good cheap bus service into Altinkum.

Great stay. Room was nice and clean. Staff are friendly and they look out for the kids especially Neymar who made every effort to always greet my 2 year old daughter. The kids pool is clean and the shuttle bus that goes to the beach is very convenient. We really enjoyed our Jeep Safari too!! I will come again!!

I am writing from a wonderful holiday. We encountered a lot of things. We became like a family in 12 days with the hotel team. This beautiful family deserves the best of everything. We would like to thank this beautiful family for that. It was very nice. The animation team is very good and very entertaining. The entertainment is very good, even the best.

Not sure if we were just unlucky with this hotel the week we went, the entertainment finished around 2330 so if you have young children will be hard to sleep, the biggest issue was the lobby bar open 24 hours and felt more like Ibiza from midnight till about 0500 no one managing the amount of noise and screams from young travellers, could literally go inside and shut doors then everyone is happy, literally no sleep for any other us, the rooms are very thin, so for a family resort there was to many drunks gobbing off, food was good lots of choice, staff were fine, reception staff most helpful, pool with slides is a bus ride away. Not a 5* hotel but was cheap so got what we paid for, town very quiet and peaceful, like I said if it wasn’t for the bar would have been a great hotel they just need to manage the drinks at night. Won’t be returning

I'm currently here on my 2nd week & it's been a complete pleasure. Why the negative reviews?? The staff are friendly, professional & accommodating. The FOOD! Delicious in every meal. Too good. Great choice. All options available. The moaners about mini fridge in the room? It has a thermostat, so change it if it's not cool enough for you. The rooms are clean, beautiful & as pictured. They're made up every day & changed on request. It's very clean. The entertainment staff are so good with all. Kids, adults & all in between. There's water in the fridge when you arrive & on all floors if you run out in the room. It's bloomin brilliant. I've no idea why people have complained. One tip.... it says Turkey against certain dishes, but doesn't mean it's Turkey meat. Just a description that it's a Turkish dish without translation. Could do better in their descriptions, but the rest? Gorgeous. The pool is huge, the rooms lush & the exclusive beach & beach bar are grand. But the beach has lots of flying ants landing on you. So, not for me. Lots of cheap travel to great places, too. The coffee some have complained about? Why? It's great! Not as strong as I'd thought, but that's no bad thing. Still lovely. All staff from reception to bar staff, to reception, to housekeeping are so lovely. There's no pressure at all, so chilled. One thing, please tip these guys. They don't get much because it's all-inclusive. It's not expensive to tip, so please do. I'll absolutely be back, God willing! So visit, it's beautiful & accessible to loads if other areas so cheaply. There's a shuttle bus to the Ramada beach & bar every 15 mins & buses to loads of places for 75lira return! That's less than a pound! It has 5 star staff, 4 star building & the guest liason in her big glass office next to reception is 100% 1 star. Unhelpful, unfriendly & unprofessional. Apart from that, it's joyous. Reception staff are lovely too!

We have just returned after a great week away with all the family from ages 62 to age 6 and we all enjoyed the hotel so much. The rooms are lovely and clean in fact the whole hotel is very clean, great entertainment at night good food not always very hot but very edible. Great pools we especially enjoyed the beach pool so much more space for the kids to play and not as shaded as the hotel pool. We travelled to Altinkum a couple of times it took an hour on the bus about £5 for 6 of us and 25 minute taxi back £25. There is not a lot around the hotel but enough going on so wasnt a problem to us. For what we paid we think it was a fantastic deal and would definitely recommend this fun packed hotel in a beautiful part of Turkey.
