Hotels near Kokutaiji Temple in Akkeshi

I stayed at this hotel because it had many reviews as a hotel with delicious oyster dishes. As the word of mouth says, there are many types of oyster dishes, and I was very satisfied. However, the only disappointing thing was that the bath started at 17:00, and before and after that, it was practically impossible to use the bath attached to the Western-style room. I wanted to freshen up before dinner, but the hot water in the guest room was extremely thin, and I couldn't even use it as a shower. Probably, the boiler capacity was full just by filling the bathhouse with hot water, and the airflow from the guest room was extremely poor, but I wondered how it would be as a customer business.

It’s a 16-minute walk from JR Akkeshi Station, but it’s only a 5-minute walk from the seafood market. The staff is very good. Knowing that we didn’t drive, they took the initiative to drive us to the Taste Center to cook seafood and take us to JR to store our luggage. Both large luggages are 420 yen, which is 600 yen cheaper than usual.

Suzuki Ryokan (Hokkaido Akeshi) is located in Akkeshi and takes about 5-minutes by car from JR Akeshi Station, near Lake Akeshi. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The room is quite satisfactory, but very clean, and the service is excellent. This is just a preliminary evaluation. What's better is: first, the transportation is convenient, the hotel is right next to the Biwu Bridge, and the bronze statues of the four beauties in spring, summer, autumn and winter on the Biwu Bridge are known as the third in the world. One of the great sunset viewing spots is the Kushiro Geimai Bridge, which adds a sense of age. Of course, if you stay in a hotel with a view room facing the sea, then watching the sunset in the room is the best choice. Across the river from the hotel is the MOO market and bus station. It is the starting point for traveling to surrounding cities and Kushiro Airport, so travel is absolutely convenient. MOO Market is very large. There are stalls of various seafood products on the ground floor. There are izakayas, bars and various restaurants on the first and second floors. The hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the JR train station and the largest seafood market and shopping mall. To travel to Lake Akan, Lake Kushari, Lake Mashu, the Red-crowned Crane International Center to see red-crowned cranes, and Mount Sulfur, you can buy tickets at the bus terminal counter next to JR station. There is a bus stop about 100 meters to the right of the hotel, where you can take the bus to Shiyuan Observation Deck. The second is the hotel's service. The front desk service is very friendly. The hotel has 13 floors. The 13th floor is the hotel's hot spring. You can soak in the hot spring at any time from 3pm to 10am the next morning. Various cold drinks are provided for free in the evening, lactic acid bacteria are provided for free in the morning, and free coffee is provided 24 hours a day on the first floor. In particular, when you soak in the hot spring on the 13th floor, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Kushiro's beautiful sunset. You can sit on the massage chair with ice cream in your mouth and enjoy the view while having a massage.

The location was very convenient near the station. I think the service and the size of the room are reasonable from the price, but one point! The cough, the sound of the TV next door, and the conversation are too loud. The wall is too thin, and the balcony is a board and the next door is round. I stayed for 4 nights, so this came a little.

Rooms facing the sea have the best views. You can stare outside for hours. If you can specify it, I think it's better to specify it. The twin room is clean and spacious enough. Trusted Prince Hotel! This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. Stayed for a night on our drive while visiting north eastern Hokkaido between Rausu n Tsurui. Had a twin room with views of the ocean. Nice comfortable room with modern amenities. There is a charge for the carpark and did not have any meals at the hotel. Most stay around here if you want to visit Lake Akan district (still an hour drive as speed limit n single lane road most of it). Good hotel base if you want to visit Tsurui as it’s about 30mins drive and there are not much accommodation choices in Tsurui.

It's not in front of the station than I expected, but it's located across the bus terminal from the station, and the location is good, with free breakfast, so I think the cospa is good. (Service / support) It is not 24h support such as the front desk, but it is friendly and reasonable. (Room) It's still small, but if you don't have business use or luggage, you don't have to say anything. If you divide it, there is no complaint. The toothbrush is provided and the necessary ones are reasonable because they are brought from the front desk. However, there are quite a few steps in the bathroom and toilet, so it is difficult for people with disabilities and the elderly. Please be careful! There is no WIFI problem. What I was interested in was that I would like you to put about the water in the humidifier in the room. (Equipment) The large communal bath is not separated by men and women, but is it replaced by a system, and the usage time for men and women is limited by time. Also, is it extremely small and the bathtub limited to 3 people? Chlorine disinfection is difficult. The smell remains until about the next morning. Coin laundry, detergent available, and dryer are free. (Breakfast) Well, it's within the price, but it's pretty good for free. China virus support is also properly done. However, there is a tableware return table at the entrance, and my eyes are bad, so I took it from there by mistake at first. I want you to make the display stand out so that you can see that it is a return table. (Others) The sidewalk to the station is very dark. There is no lighting. (Even though it is a bus terminal) Moreover, there are holes and people with visual impairment and bird eyes are at a dangerous level. This is a problem with the city government in Kushiro City, but please be careful when using the railway at night or early in the morning.

Hotel is in a nice spot by the river and harbor, with a Fisherman’s Wharf tourist area 3 minutes walk away. On our arrival walk from the train station we noted the town was a bit depressed and later learned 2 of their 3 main industries were fading (paper and coal declining while fishing booms). Perhaps because of this and lingering pandemic effects, the hotel pulled out some stops to make guests’ stays more enjoyable - complimentary buffet of bath salts and pillows in the lobby, plus complimentary breakfast set options on top of an an already nice buffet. We opted for the seafood breakfast and were extremely happy with it. Our room, a Deluxe Hollywood Twin would be perfect for 2 adults, it was a bit cramped for the 3 of us with a rollaway. The bathroom was a Japanese style wet room which we appreciate. We also used the coin laundry. If you’ve got a car this could serve as a decent base for some exploring. We spent one day on a bus tour up to Lake Akan.

I stayed to travel to Kushiro for two days and one night from my stay in Sapporo. When I left the station and looked to the left side, there was a large display at the top of the hotel, and I immediately knew the location. The hotel was clean and the room had everything I needed. He lent me a bicycle at the hotel, so I was able to easily go to Starbucks, the easternmost part of Japan, a few kilometers away. In addition, the hotel staff was very friendly and taught me the recommended izakaya in Kushiro. The sun manma I ate at the izakaya was delicious. The free breakfast was delicious and I wanted to use this hotel when I stayed in Kushiro.
