I recently stayed at Time Square Hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, offering a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Breakfast at the hotel was reasonable, with a decent selection of items that catered to different tastes. While it wasn't the most extensive buffet I've encountered, the quality of the food was good, and it provided a solid start to the day. However, my stay wasn't without its issues. The most persistent problem was the constant cold calls from the hotel's spa. Receiving these calls almost daily became quite bothersome. It's something the hotel management might want to reconsider or at least provide guests with the option to opt out of such communications. Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident with one of the staff members who berated me for not informing them in advance that I would be missing the buffet breakfast on one occasion. This abruptness was surprising and not in line with the otherwise excellent service standard set by the rest of the team. In summary, my stay at Time Square Hotel was delightful on many fronts, with commendable staff, lovely accommodations, and reasonable dining options. However, the spa's marketing tactics and the isolated incident with a staff member did mar the overall experience slightly. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure an even more pleasant and seamless experience for future guests

This resort is nestled among the backwaters and to get there from Kochi is a short ride (＜ 1 hour) and cross the backwaters on a motor boat. We stayed in the room which had excellent backwater view. The food is excellent and service was quick! Went during the peak monsoons and the whole place was surreal. Free activities include unlimited kayaking and use of country boat and a motor boat ride through the back waters. Highly recommend this property.

Resort experience was excellent. Their Hospitality was one of the best things of the resort. The way they welcome the guests and the way they communicate is very good. Resort itself was very good with great lake view and ambiance. They also have boating , Basketball court, and other play areas which will keep you engaged and entertained. Also edge swimming pool is also other nice to hangout with.

I recently stayed at the Palmgrove hotel in Alappuzha, Kerala, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the photos displayed on their website seemed heavily photoshopped, painting a far rosier picture than reality. This resort, touted as a 3-star accommodation, fell woefully short of even basic standards. Let me elaborate my experience at The Palmgroove Lake Resort, Alapuzzha: 1. The management's attitude was shockingly rude, displaying a complete disregard for the guests' comfort and satisfaction. 2. Privacy was non-existent due to poorly designed curtains that left gaps, allowing unwanted intrusion into our room. 3. The mattresses were uncomfortably saggy, resulting in backaches the next morning. 4. The linens and towels provided were worn-out, torn, and rough to the touch. 5. Mosquitoes infested the room, with no provisions for insect repellent. 6. Despite complaints about a malfunctioning AC, assistance was unavailable after 9 pm, forcing us to contact the manager directly, who was not even on the premises. 7. The buffet breakfast was a dismal affair, offering stale and cold items with limited variety and freshness. Staying at the Palmgrove hotel was a regrettable experience. I strongly advise against it. Spending a little extra for a better-quality stay elsewhere in Alappuzha is undoubtedly worth it. This hotel's subpar services and facilities do not align with its star rating and should be avoided at all costs.
