The hotel is perfectly located on the beach, 20m from the sea, it has a nice pool, indoor and outdoor restaurant. We were accommodated on the 2nd floor, in a room with a sea view, a double bed and a bed for one person and a very clean bathroom. Every day the maid cleaned the room and changed the towels. we had all inclusive, which means 3 meals, snack bar, ice cream and local drinks. Diversified food, fruits, different types of meat, salads and at every lunch there was a barbecue. August 24th is our daughter's birthday, 12 years old, and the hotel made her a surprise, offering her a birthday cake and a lovely gift. Thanks to the staff and especially to the hotel manager, Mrs. Dima Ivanova, who is always available to tourists and who solves any request in the shortest possible time. We recommend the hotel for families who want to relax in a quiet, clean place and very close to the sea, we will definitely come back.

Hotel in dierekter Strandlage, nur 5 Minuten von der "Amüsiermeile" entfert, aber trotzdem ruhig. Das Hotel punktet durch die Lage, die gute Verpflegung und vor allem dem Service. Bei jedem Problem oder Wunsch ist das Personal einschließlich Hotelleitung (Frau Ivanova) zur Stelle und hilft. Das engagierte Entertainement durch Veni, Eddy, Viki und Ani hat mir besonders gefallen...

When we made the reservation everywhere it said private beach, well when we arrived front dest tell us thaht the first 2 rows are paid 21 leva. We are with a little boy and it's very important to be front row. Next we were surprised with 20 leva per day for our car and there aren't event parkink spots for the hotel. You pay to park if you find a spot somewhere on the street 🤣 The room is so small that from one side of the bed you can't go out, because of the baby's crib (it's no free space in our room and baby's crib has yo be next to the bed wich is super small 140x190 for 2 people. There is no spase for our luggage. We moved the chair and table on the super small balcony.🤮 It's very dated, very old school. The food is not terrible, but there is lack of options!. I've been to 5 stars hotels for the same price, wich are beyond lux! This hotel is 0 stars for me. Don't go there and waist your money. Even if someone gifts me a vacation in this hotel I will decline it!

The worst you can take, if you want to get there just think twice, insalubrious space and not quality food.. unfriendly and unprofessional staff, the parking car to expensive around the hotel if you don’t want to walk 2 miles to park your car for acceptance price.

We were very pleased to stay in hotel Borjana. The food and the service were perfect. The hotel is based on the beach, Whenever you need anything you can alwaya ask for support Mrs Dima Ivanova- manager of the hotel. I would like to reccomend Borjana for families and couples, Regards Svetlin

Wunderschön am Rande des Naturschutzgebietes Baltata, direkt am feinen Sandstrand und absolut ruhig gelegen. Zwar ist das Hotel selbst bereits etwas älter, aber durch Sanierung/Renovierung insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand. Geschäfte und Apotheke sowie Bushaltestelle fußläufig über die Strandpromenade erreichbar. Sehr schöne und moderne Rezeption/Lobby, Lobby-Bar, angenehme Sitzgelegenheiten an der Außenterrasse am Pool. Zimmer nicht besonders groß, aber absolut ausreichend für zwei Personen und sehr sauber. Modern eingerichtet und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, und - wenn man wie wir Glück hat und dann eines der schöneren Zimmer bekommt, mit tollem Ausblick auf das Schwarze Meer in Richtung Balchik über Pool und Strand. Das Restaurant bietet eine sehr gute Auswahl und damit immer etwas für jeden Geschmack. Leider viel zu sehr auf deutsche Touristen ausgerichtete Küche, wir hätten uns da wirklich viel mehr Bulgarien und Balkan am Buffet und auf dem Teller gewünscht. Danke noch einmal besonders an die liebenswerte Chefin des Hotels, Dima - und ihre Kollegin Iva, die unser Zimmerproblem bei der Anreise nach anfänglichen Problemen zeitnah gelöst haben und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit für die Gäste zur Verfügung standen. Auch das Personal an den Bars (z.B. der Barkeeper Daniel) und im Restaurant sowie die Zimmermädchen, alle wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die ruhige und entspannte A**osphäre dort und die wunderschöne Umgebung laden zum Seele baumeln lassen ein. Zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zu Unternehmungen, Balchik und Varna haben uns persönlich sehr gut gefallen. Fazit: * Aufenthalt 11 Tage im September 2019 * Sehr gutes Hotel für einen entspannten Urlaub am Strand. 4 **** dafür und eine absolute Empfehlung! Zusatz: Leider scheinen die meisten Urlauber aus Deutschland allerdings ihren Anstand zuhause beim packen der Koffer vergessen zu haben. Das fiel uns schon auf dem Flug nach Varna auf. Benehmen und auch die Verhaltensweisen an den Buffets und im Speisesaal bzw. dem Außenbereich haben uns of**als sprachlos gemacht.

99% of the staff members are either really tired (even if it's only the beginning of the season) or they just lack respect. Any time of day, only sour faces everywhere. Only youth staff were acting as they should... There were some exceptions though. If you were a German tourist you would get full attention and curtoasy. So unprofessional! One piece of advice: if you accept Romanians in your hotel, treat them with the respect any paying customer deserves!

Best value for the money! The hotel is located right on the beach and it also has a pool, which is nice for kids and for adults, especially when the sea water gets cold or the waves make it difficult to swim. It would be nice if there were at least a couple of showers by the pool, but let's not be nitpicky. :) It's a 3 star hotel, so don't expect glamour and impeccable service. It's not perfect. But they try, and it counts. :) The food is very good. Very fresh and sufficiently diverse. (And you will find something to eat even if you arrive just half an hour before closing time...) We liked that there are fruits at every meal (including grapefruit for breakfast) and they actually cook real food (veal, pork stew, various chicken dishes), not just use minced meat variations (like we saw in other places in Bulgaria) . The staff is friendly and helpful. They speak English (at least at the reception), Russian and German. The rooms are not so big, but this wasn't an important aspect for us, since we didn't spend much time indoors. All rooms have air-conditioning and a balcony with a clothes drier, where you can hang your bathing stuff out to dry. The maid comes daily and does a decent enough job (could be better, though...) There is also an animation team both for adults and for kids. It's a nice touch. But keep in mind that Albena is a family resort, so everything shuts down around 11 PM, including the hotel bar. The beach has enough sunbeds and they are positioned sufficiently apart, so it's not crowded and we never had the issue of not finding a spot. The beach is sandy and very nice. All in all, we are having a lovely time here and we definitely recommend the location for a budget holiday. Strong points : location, food Weak points: The restaurant area could be cleaner. It's OK, but especially with Covid, extra cleaning measures should be taken...
