Hotels Near Masseria 'La Badessa' di Masi Giuseppe in Alberobello

My husband and I visited Alberobello the very first few days of July and had the loveliest time staying with Trullidea for 3 nights. We booked room “TRISTIDDE 41” which featured a private outdoor space to relax in and could not have been happier. Trullidea has a bunch of “spread out” trulli so it is not a typical hotel/accommodation with a main reception and all rooms in one “building” This is very clear on the website, but thought I should emphasize this anyhow. This makes for a very unique, intimate experience — as if you are living in the town! The location of this accommodation is prime since the reception office is located on one of the main streets within the Rione Monti district and so are their Trulli. Our trullo was located in a quieter part of the town (as described on the website) and this was wonderful because we wanted to be close to everything but prefer quiet & private accommodation. This allowed us to get the best of both! Just walk one minute and you’re in all the action! The trullo itself was very comfortable with different places to sit and relax and we appreciated that breakfast could be sent directly to the room every morning. No issues with staying cool even in the heat of the summer since the architecture of a trullo makes it cool inside by default but the AC functioned perfectly as well. Staff were very kind and we were given great restaurant recommendations and even a great recommendation for a local tour guide. Most people only take a day trip to Alberobello but you only get to “trulli” experience this place by staying at least an extra day and do not pass the opportunity to stay in a trullo like this one!

It's just great, there is a private yard for parking. The room is single-family, the space is large and the facilities are very new. The environment is good and very quiet. The host welcomed us very warmly. Walking in the town is very convenient and safe.

I stayed two nights in this building, located in the historic centre of Alberobello, under the advice of friends. From the reservation both Francesco and Ugo have been kind and available and also at the time of check-in they have given us several advice on where to eat and what to visit in the surroundings. Our truck was very comfortable, spacious, careful in detail and especially very clean.A safe and pay-per-view parking is just a few steps away from the truck. If I can give a little advice I would make breakfast a little richer and varied (it really takes little)... I found it a little too essential ( very nice, available and always smile girls who serve breakfast ). Recommended!

The hotel looks appropriate for the place - it encompasses two trulli roofs, so that one knows right away what the main sight of this town is. The rooms are spacious, with French windows, with a large bathroom and all the furniture needed. The TV set could be a bit bigger, but you cannot watch anything but Italian programmes anyway. The shower which is actually in the bathtub is not a very good idea either, especially for elderly guests. Everything else is nice, the yard is well-kept, there is a small park and a swimming pool there. The food was good, but the service at dinner was very slow, so some of the dishes were already cold. Breakfast was only partly self-service, maybe due to covid, but nothing was missing really. Even the waiters were quick at serving then. The main advantage of this hotel is the fact that it is quite close to the main sight of the town - the trulli. There is only a 10-minute walk to the part of the town where one can visit the largest cluster of trulli houses.

We were for a short stay in Puglia, we spent three nights in this hotel with the half-pension formula we could not enjoy because the evening before they arrived called us to tell us that it was no longer possible to do the The hotel is a hotel with a view to the hotel and the hotel is a hotel with a view to the hotel. That is the first time I ever used the word, MERAVIGLIOSO and a Corte Dell’Astore truly deserves it! What an absolutely beautiful retreat in the heart of the “Fairy Tale Village” of Alberobello! This wonderful place is also owned by two of the nicest people, Stella and Francesco! MERAVIGLIOSO!!The day I arrived with my two teenage children, they had already planned for us a trip with Francesco up to the top of a tall mountain to show us how his eagle, Zeus would fly into the clouds and back onto his arm. This included a walk through the beautiful forest full of chestnut trees and pine cones, The path cleared and there we were on the top of the highest mountain between Alberobello and Brindisi.MERAVIGLIOSO!January is off-season, but Stella found a lovely woman to come to the retreat and teach us to make pasta.MERAVIGLIOSO! Corte is also a hawkery and a small farm with beautiful and well-kept animals from camels to hawks! MERAVIGLIOSO! We stayed in the Princess Astore Suite-an authentic TRULLO. We had a huge bedroom, kitchen and courtyard.Complete with a fireplace stacked with plenty of wood and a large and clean hot tub! MERAVIGLIOSO! We are counting the days when we can return to Corte Dell’Astore, Stella and Francesco and their amazing family of animals!! I do fear that when more and more vacationers will learn about Corte Dell’Astore, and won’t be able to get in! Stella and Francesco - Grazie Mille for making us feel like family!
