Lovely building that looks stunning from the outside.
However when you get inside the bedroom they do not keep in with the same period. It looks like someone has popped to IKEA and purchased a lot of modern furniture.
The breakfast was good. The gym was quite tired, the pool, sauna and hot tub seemed to be ok.

Bel castello nelle colline torinesi, mio marito mi ha regalato per l’inizio della mia pensione un pacchetto composto da percorso sensoriale guidato, massaggio di 25 minuti, accesso all areas, cena, pernottamento e prima colazione. Devo dire che siamo stati bene, molto rilassante e tranquillo, complice il fatto di essere stati di lunedì, poche persone. Grazie particolarmente a Nicola e Imma per il bellissimo massaggio. Ottimo anche il cibo! Grazie!

We have just had an amazing meal at Restaurant Crotin. We were greeted by an extremely polite and very professional young man called Abdul. We asked for his advice in choosing the best wine to go with our meal and he was extremely knowledgeable and suggested wine that went perfectly. I’m English and although I’ve lived in Italy for 10 years I sometimes struggle with the language, our waiter was very polite and patient, well mannered and professional at all times. He was very quick to take our order and our food arrived in no time at all. The quality of the food in this restaurant is top notch!! I’ve just had the Plin, the sea bass and the pears in wine for desert. All absolutely amazing. A very high end luxury restaurant with great staff. A real asset to the hotel ‘Castello Montaldo’.

Bella giornata all'insegna del relax nel bel Castello di Montaldo sulle colline Torinesi. Peccato per il maltempo che non ci ha permesso di godere appieno degli spazi aperti per tutto il tempo a disposizione. Un ringraziamento particolare a Nicola che ci ha pilotati in un bellissimo percorso guidato. Personale gentile e accogliente. Sicuramente torneremo.

Pessima organizzazione, promettono spazi e tempi che non rispettano facendo incrociare eventi Modi pessimi di trattare clienti in ovvio imbarazzo e disagio che affidano loro momenti importanti della loro vita e non ammettono nemmeno i loro macroscopici errori con atteggiamenti spavaldi e irritanti

Castello bellissimo e ben curato. Percorso sensoriale e SPA 10/10 specialmente Nicola, che ha reso l'esperienza della Spa e del percorso sensoriale ancora più speciale con la sua gentilezza e professionalità. Torneremo sicuramente per un altro ritiro relax.

Invitata per un matrimonio,bel posto nel insieme ,più fuori che dentro …il cibo abbastanza buono,tranne il secondo che metà degli invitati lo hanno lasciato in quanto era troppo al sangue ed era immangiabile….un altra cosa fastidiosissima erano gli adetti alla organizzazione che assillavano gli invitati per una recensione che non trovo giusto in quanto non sei libero di esprimere la tua opinione liberamente perché loro ti stavano addosso ….nel insieme c’è di meglio !!!

Purtroppo siamo rimasti piuttosto delusi. Piscina esterna poco curata con vasche idromassaggio con il mangiare rimasto dei clienti precedenti, lettini sporchi. In camera mini Frigo staccato, tenda della doccia che si stava staccando. Hanno cambiato molti proprietari e probabilmente adesso quelli nuovi stanno cercando di riprendere in mano la situazione ma c'è ancora molto lavoro da fare. Il personale gentile È disponibile. Sicuramente le camere non da hotel a quattro stelle. Potenzialmente la struttura è magnifica, mi auguro i nuovi proprietari riescano a sfruttarla adeguando la location allo standard dichiarato.
