As someone who appreciates a mixed bag of experiences, my recent stay at the Hampton Inn Albuquerque delivered on all fronts. Nestled conveniently near the Green Jeans eatery, it’s the perfect location for those who want to indulge in local flavors without straying far from their pillow. Let’s start with the highlights. The bed was like a cloud sent from the heavens, cradling me into blissful slumber – when I could actually sleep, that is. The free hot breakfast was a delightful start to the day, with an array of delicious options that made me briefly consider becoming a morning person. Plus, kudos to the cheerful morning front desk host who graciously allowed me a late check-out. It's the little things, right? Now, onto the lowlights, because every comedy needs its conflict. The bathroom was an unexpected adventure, featuring a hairy situation that was less than ideal. The water pressure was akin to being licked by a dehydrated kitten – not exactly the invigorating start I was hoping for. But the true pièce de résistance was the midnight parking lot concert. Nothing like some bass-heavy tunes to lull you into restlessness. My first call to the front desk at midnight miraculously worked, and silence reigned – until 3:00 A.M., when the band resumed its greatest hits. This time, my calls went unanswered. When I trudged down to the front desk, there was the hostess, enjoying a cigarette break and an animated conversation, blissfully unaware of my sleepless plight. After a lengthy wait that felt like an eternity (or at least another set from the parking lot DJ), she finally put an end to the musical marathon. By then, the clock struck 4:00 A.M., and I faced the harsh reality that sleep was a distant dream. In conclusion, my stay at Hampton Inn Albuquerque was a blend of comfort and chaos, much like a well-shaken cocktail. For the excellent breakfast, prime location, and moments of rest, I'd give it another shot. But be prepared for a few plot twists along the way – and maybe pack some earplugs just in case. This hotel went from being saved in my Hilton app as a favorite to a "not so much"
