Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel

Room size is good but limited space in bathroom to put stuffs.

Good location near the airport. Quality seems to have gone down a bit over the past few stays. Still a good bet.

So close to the terminal, just follow the signs once you exit the terminal, cross a couple of roads and you're in the property parking lot. It's clean and although an old hotel it's kept clean and updated here and there. For example beds have seen better times, but washroom was looking good. Staff was great, food was fine and served fast. On the down side one two items: 1 only decaf coffee in the room, odd eh 2 the shower drain wasn't great and will not drain fast enough

Our room was great - clean, comfortable bed, spacious, and nicely decorated. The bathroom door dragged slightly on the floor, but not enough to be a problem. Out the window, you could see for miles. The conference room - the reason we were there - was *not* great. It was difficult to follow the proceedings in our space because of loud noise from the next-door gathering. And multiple people complained that the large hallway smelled bad (sometimes my anosmia is a blessing). Many of the employees were kind and polite, but all it takes is one to spoil an overall impression, and that brings me to the bartender. Somewhat rude not just to me but to several people, and not a good listener, either: I ordered Dos Equis Amber, but got Negra Modela. I kind of regret tipping for that order.

The previous negative reviews don’t align with our experience. The place looks like it’s been updated and freshened since we last stayed a few years ago. Everything looked and smelled clean and nice. Beds were comfy and room spacious. The staff were great! Yes, you do have to pay for parking but it’s secured (which is reassuring in a high crime city like ABQ). The price was very reasonable although breakfast not included.

It was ok. The best part is you are next to the airport with hotel transportation to/from the airport with ease. The executive lounge was not so great. What they put out in the evening was the worst i have ever seen at a Marriot. It was like some fruits some vegetables, cheese, and not much else. Breakfast was a bit better but overall weak in that department. The room was nice and had a good nights sleep. The staff was great and responsive. The bar downstairs was also decent and the restaurant looked like they had good food. There are nearby restaurants you can walk to. Overall, excellent hotel location if you are flying out of ABQ!
