Motel 6 Albuquerque, NM - Carlisle

Stains on my pillow case, cigarettes holes in my blanket and pillow case. The dirt patch by the stairs on the highway facing side was covered in dog poop and reckeddddd of dog pee and another smell that was so awful. When I’m talking bare minimum, this was bare minimum. Just a bed and bathroom. No iron, no microwave or fridge (DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS LIKE I DID. THEY’RE OLD PICS), pool looked okay. There was no towels in our room. I guess the cleaners forgot them.  There were other guests that look like they lived there. Always smoking and always sitting outside or with their doors wide open. I’ve stayed at a lot of motel 6’s and this one was by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed in.

The area where it’s located has a lot of homeless people walking around. The WiFi connection was horrible. The Television screen was very dim to where it was hard to see the program. Some of the outlets were not working as well as some of the lights. The towels are very low quality.

Planned on staying one night. Stayed a extra 3 days, location was great. Had access to go any direction I chose. Staff was great!

My husband and I do a lot of traveling for his job, and we have stayed at many hotels around the country, and this was the WORST experience we have EVER had at a hotel. It was TRAUMATIZING, to say the least! We had been staying at the.... Motel 6 3400 Prospect NE Albuquerque, NM 87107 for a week prior to the incident. On 5/19/2026, my husband, myself, and out two dogs we treated like we were the scum of the earth. It was unjustified and unfair. What happened was that I knew were coming up on our payment date, and the day before we had to pay, I went ahead and paid, or so I thought. It was an honest mistake on my part, because come to find out on Tuesday, 5/19/26, the payment didnt go through the third part website. I didnt know it didnt go through, so I assumed that we we all good with regards to out payment. At 1:30 yesterday afternoon, my husband comes back to room after leaving the office, and tells me that we need to pay. I freaked out! I did my research, and I realized the payment didnt go through. I immediately call down to the office and apologized perfusely and said I could pay. The very MEAN lady let me have it. She said " the payment was due at 11am, and that she told my husband hours ago about the payment issue," which was a TOTAL LIE!! My husband found out right before he told me what happened. Then she said, "we have had hours to handle this situation," which was a TOTAL LIE, and that she wasn't going to accept my payment and we had 15 min to get out. Really??? WHAT DID WE DO?? I made an honest mistake, and I own that, but I was ready to make it right and pay. She wouldn't even listen to me, and she had me in tears. So, I started packing our stuff, crying out of frustration, and so confused about why this was happening. Then shift change occured, and a male who goes by the nickname, Superman, came on duty. My husband and I went down to the office to find out what was going on, and he shut me down, just like that abusive lady, and said we had to go. I told him that I was awre of our rights, I started reading the NM state laws regarding hotel evictions, and he shut me down again and specifically told me and my husband "We dont need a reason to kick anyone out of the hotel!" I couldnt believe it. I told him that moving wasn't easy for my husband and I due to our physical ailments that we both have. He said he doesn't care and the mean lady's decision stands. So, we went upstairs and kept packing when a 3 young kid security team comes and stands outside our door, being incredibly rude, telling us to stop talking and to hurry up and get out. I was furious, but I kept my cool. They continued to stand there, saying disrespectful comments to me...calling me old, grandma, ugly, and one of the guys said that "Only drug ******* stay in hotels," which isn't true. My husband and I were treated like we were trash unjustly by 5 individuals that work at the Motel 6 on Prospect (Carlisle) in Albuquerque, NM. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND TH

No mini fridge no room service after i rented the room for a week. . Room was clean and updated from what i can see.

Very basic Motel 6. The security in the parking lot after dark was was excellent. There was a leak in ceiing above the sink that dripped.

Parking was next to the room. Air conditioning worked good. Room was clean. Property next to interstate. Didn’t have any issues with loud noises. Only issue was the bolt didn’t lock.

Only one towel in the room, no shampoo or body wash, and Wifi wouldn't stay connected.
