We booked a room through Agoda for our family (a 9 y/o child and two adults). We arrived at 13:00 as the check-in time promised by Agoda was 13:00 but no one was at the reception. We had to wait for one hour before checking in. Several people were also waiting to check in when we returned at 13:50. Then we were given a room with one king bed and no extra bedding (e.g. sofa or trundle bed) for a nine year old child. The proprietors charged extra $35 as we needed extra bedding for our son. With nowhere to go, I paid additional $35. We have booked a room through Agoda for three persons multiple times before but was never given a room with no extra bedding for the third person. The worst part was the proprietors wanted to get rid of us at check in as she couldn’t be bothered listening to the customer’s grievances about additional fees, The proprietor shouted “you know what I don’t need to listen to this, Do you want a refund, oh wait we can’t give you a refund, you must go to Agoda if you want a refund”. I wish I could walked away from that place on that day but had nowhere to go. This was by far the worst booking experience I’ve ever had. Do not book this place through Agoda for three persons as chances are no additional bedding is provided for.
