Wir waren leider nur 1 nacht hier... es war wunderschön, das zimmer sehr geräumig, sauber & schön. Die lage ist perfekt mit wundervoller aussicht auf das kloster und das personal sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Jederzeit wieder! Zahlreiche restaurants in der nähe...

Exquisite and unique property. The entry is hard to find (google maps had issues) and you must get out of car to press the gate button for entry. Once inside is a beautiful serene converted monastery hotel. Check in and service is 5 star! Extremely grand yet simple decor. Marble floors, like stepping back into a different era. Extremely clean and excellent bathrooms and shower. Just steps from the beautiful Alcobaca Monastery. A truly special experience.

This is a former residence for novitiates in training for the monastery, which it overlooks. It’s a beautiful complex of several buildings with an interior courtyard or two, gorgeous garden, inground pool, and more. The interior has been refurbished but is still very elegant and historic in nature. Many large lounge type rooms, and our room was very large and tastefully appointed, with lots of bath products. The breakfast was first rate as well, and the staff/owners were friendly and great to talk to. Location couldn’t be better. Just down a short hill is the shopping/dining area and the amazing monastery. One of the best places we stayed in our two weeks in Portugal!

Casámos no Solar e vendem a quinta muito bem, mas depois é tudo ao contrario. Tratamento muito fraco. Não casem nesta quinta. A quinta é bonita e bem localizada, mas não chega. We got married at Solar and they sell the farm very well, but then it's all the other way around. Very weak treatment. Don't get married on this farm. The farm is beautiful and well located, but it's not enough.
