The Aldwick

Excellent in all. Hosts were very welcoming. They provided for a lovely buffet and facilities for our group of 15 people coming from UK, Canada and Hong Kong.

The property was close to the sea and where we wanted to be. The parking was good, as was the breakfast and service. The room was a good size and clean, with the usual welcome tea and coffee. However the wardrobe needs some repairs and the windows let in a howling gale so we had to keep the thin curtains closed, but it is January. The bed was comfortable, the towels nice but the bathroom needs a little improvement. The placement of the toilet, toilet rolls and towel rail need spacing out and we would prefer a mixer tap shower with a variable height bracket as it was difficult to get a fixed temperature and reach the one high holder. Probably it was just our room. Overall it was good.

We stayed as part of a group when visiting bognor for a birthday party. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The beach is a 2 minute walk and you can be in the town within 15 mins of walking. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were lovely during service. Great value and will return when back.

Had a 1 night stay here visiting friends. Booked easily on ***********. Arrived at the property, plenty of car parking spaces, and some availability on the road. Very clean and quiet residential area very close to the beach I rang the bell as the front door was locked. Greeted by owner, she explained the restaurant and bar area. Our room was spacious and very clean. Required milk, and was given fresh milk not the uht rubbish. Went out for the rest of the day. Arriving back, let ourselves in, no complications Following morning went for breakfast, good choice of cereal, fruit, drinks, vegan and full English breakfast If visiting the area again, I will definitely check here 1st Only downside, but personal preference the bed was soft

The welcome was not the friendliest one and, as soon as we get into our room, we realised it was sometimes that a hoover has been used in there: for this reason, we started to look around and found dust everywhere, a cobweb by the window, a nut on the carpet behind an electric heater and a hair in the bed. At this point we called the lady who checked us in and she offered us to move to another room, while trying to justify the lack of cleaning saying that the 'girl' might sometimes miss some details and that the room was not used in the previous 2 days!!! The new room was a little bit better, but still a lot of dust was in the bathroom. Breakfast was terrible as well, with overcooked fried eggs and hashbrowns. I had to ask for the bread plate and knife, for water, between the apologies of the 'girl': she's keeping missing details! No sign of the lady (owner?) at check out, making sure she keep herself away to avoid any requests for refund!

Great stay. Nice and quiet and a great Breakfast. They were also able to accommodate us being a little late.

The real downside to our stay, was the room location. The view from the window was a brick wall with not a much light comming in.
