The accommodation was excellent, realy comfortable beds, tea, coffee and milk in room, it even had a small fridge. Beverley and Tim were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and Beverley's breakfasts were excellent, lovely crispy bacon. The only drawback was having to walk a few yards to the lovely old farmhouse for breakfast as the rooms are in a converted stable block but we didn't find that a problem Aldwincle is a lovely village and people are very friendly, every time I took the dog for a walk and passed someone in the street they never failed to say hello and sometimes would stop for a brief chat. My wife Chris developed a problem with a very painful leg on the day before we were due to leave and found walking almost impossible. We told beverly we were considering going home a day early so that I could get Chris to our local A&E to see if there was anything serious, Beverly said of course we must and charged us for one less night than we had booked. We can thouroughly recommend staying there, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed.
