Staying at Yichuan Yuebai is the right choice for your ski trip to Altay! I blindly picked Yichuan Yuebai Hotel for my Altay ski trip this time, and I was pleasantly surprised! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to the General Mountain Ski Resort. You just step out and you're on the slopes, which is incredibly convenient for people like us who want to get in as many runs as possible – no hassle at all. The room was much larger than expected, with fresh decor, clean and very comfortable. The absolute highlight was the floor-to-ceiling window, offering a direct view of the entire snow-capped mountain. Waking up in the morning to the sun shining on the glistening snow, lying in bed and enjoying the scenery was simply amazing. The service was also incredibly warm; all the staff were smiling and happy to help, resolving any issues immediately. What was most convenient was being able to pick up ski tickets directly at the hotel, saving us from having to queue at the ski resort. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next ski trip! Highly recommend it to all friends coming to Altay for a snow adventure.

Stayed during the off-season and got an upgraded room, which was really nice. The view from the window was directly facing the ski slopes. Unfortunately, the night sessions were closed the day I arrived, so I couldn't go skiing ❄️. I hope the hotel can provide guests with ski resort information in advance next time. Looking forward to experiencing the ski-in/ski-out option on my next visit!

The breakfast was great, and the staff were really attentive. Every day, they prepared fresh fruit, yogurt, and bath bombs, which was such a thoughtful touch after a day of skiing. Being right next to the ski slopes was super convenient too.

The hotel's ambiance and location are excellent, perfect for those who can handle advanced slopes. If you're a beginner, staying in the A zone would be more suitable.

This is my second time at Yichuan Yuebai Hotel; I stayed here last time when I visited General Mountain. It's time-saving and hassle-free, as the hotel provides airport pick-up and drop-off. After settling in, I headed to the night skiing area, and afterwards, I enjoyed a massage in a massage chair. Breakfast was the same as last time. Actually, the hotel breakfast is quite low-fat, with enough protein but not too much oil, making it perfect for fitness enthusiasts on a weight-loss diet. You can buy ski passes and return ski cards at the hotel. There are mirrors at the hotel entrance for grooming, and a heated storage room for skis. In short, this Nitro-partnered hotel is young and trendy. See you next time!

Avoid the General Mountain International Ski Resort. The only ski-in/ski-out apartment in the resort doesn't qualify as a hotel; it lacks a buffet breakfast and its Spring Festival pricing is even higher than the Hilton Hemu Hotel, yet the room size, facilities, and service are inferior. It's unnecessary and not recommended to choose this place. The "ski-in/ski-out" aspect only applies to its proximity to the ski resort. The resort is located near Altay City with complete amenities; you can stay in the city, where there are many good hotels to choose from, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the ski resort, which is very convenient.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! The most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Altay. The details were impeccable, and the owner and staff at the coffee shop downstairs were incredibly friendly. Most importantly, it's right next to the ski resort – a wonderful surprise! I knew it was close, but I didn't expect it to be this close. I stayed two nights, and the first day's breakfast with steamed buns was absolutely delicious – those buns were incredible! Highly recommended!
