Nice hotel with good breakfast at ihop rooms are clean and good

Convenient location not far from the major area.  Free parking was a plus.  Breakfast was terrible though.

I am a travel nurse and I booked 7 days at this location. However, after checking it I was very disappointed. The room had a horrible smell to it, the vent was extremely dirty, and the toilet didn’t work. I then went downstairs to have my room changed, which the night shift assistant helped me with. The next room was slightly better outside of this loud noise that I couldn’t find the cause of. The room was a handicap assessable room, had slight smell as well and dishes were not clean, tub was dirty, and the microwave had old food in it. The next morning I approached Rafeal at the front desk due to the loud noise and me not being able to sleep due to it. Since I was scheduled to stay 7 days, I needed a new room. When I approached him, he was on his phone and didn’t look up at me until I said hello. I then proceeded to ask for another room due to the loud noise. Without him looking into the computer, he told me that “there’s no other room”. I asked him if he could please look because last night the other attendant was able to move me due to a toliet issues and the smell of the room. He said it again, there’s no other room. I then asked him to change my departure date to the next day because I’m extremely unhappy. He did, I asked will I get a refund after check out for the $800 I was charged, he said he wasn’t sure. His attitude and demeanor made me not want to stay here anymore ! At least the night shift attendants were nice.   I checked out this morning and was greeted by Marie. She was a breath of fresh air. I proceeded to tell her about the problems o had and She apologized for my issues I had at her location. She was very empathetic & told he how I can voice my concerns. I appreciate her great customer service!

My fiancé and I had a last minute stay in va. The hotel is okay..free ihop breakfast in the morning, nice lobby area, and only 15 minutes from the city but the AC barely worked. Marie was the best! She was so polite and attentive during our stay. I usually don’t leave reviews but I just wanted her to know we appreciate her hospitality, which is very RARE now a days!!

room was clean, big tv, has many channels include hbo. but bathroom wasnt clean: ventilation full of dust, lights next to mirror not working. for this price should be working everything and clean. big plus has FREE breakfast in IHOP from 6am to 9am
