Wonderful, personal service in this beautiful old heritage hotel located right on the corniche in central Alexandria. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant and enjoy the view.

The food was okay, cold and theres no much options but the view was very beautiful roof top.

Whilst the location of this hotel is excellent, and the aesthetic of the hotel is very regal / European in its vibe (old style elevator, bell boy, tea room), the actual facilities are just average. The handle to our room was broken, the room itself smelt damp, there was no wifi connection available and no water bottles were provided as previously promised. The novelty in living in a “fancy” turn-of-the-century style hotel was fine for 1 night, but I’m not sure I’d recommend this place based on the price tag per night.

Old hotel, not well maintained. The sheets and towels were clean. The faucet was slipping when I was showering, but it was fixed quickly. The biggest drawback is that it is close to the road, and the car noise is too noisy, and it lasts almost all night.

I read a lot of reviews about Egyptian hotels. I was mentally prepared when I first came to Egypt. Every time I opened the door of the room, it was like opening a blind box. However, the hotels along the way may be old, but they were all recently repainted. This hotel is very unique and worth trying. It is a rare experience to stay in a century-old hotel!

The room is still very good, beautifully decorated, relatively large, and cost-effective. Especially the rooftop restaurant is amazing and worth a visit. I personally think it is a very satisfactory choice.
