Horrible…..the sink didn’t work, there was no hott water for a shower. Also, the toilet didn’t flush and lastly the AC/heater didn’t work! Didn’t expect much but definitely didn’t expect that! I will say, it’s a great location for ferry and food… also bed wasn’t bad!

The hotel is very well located for the port (about 5 minutes walk) if you are wanting to make day trips to Ceuta or Tangier. It is basic but the reception is open 24 hours and a really nice kebab takeaway next door with the staff speaking good English. It is about 10 mins from the bus and train stations too. The area can be a bit quiet late at night though.

Algeciras with the covid is disastrous, the best is Tarifa. The hotel is old, it is a bad area with regular people, you just have to look at the hotel entrance.
