Nice outside. Supermarkets across street. Close to cashbah and tour guides and milk bar. A true three star but has breakfast and wifi. Small beds but great rooftop to read in

Omar, our front door concierge received us and was very kind and made life easy the 24h we were there. He found us a great taxi driver, honest and helpful.
We can speak fluent French, but they also speak English.
Our room was on the 6th floor. Algier was quite cold in March and the heating in our room was working well. It was clean and had a nice view. The staircase has a beautiful mosaic. Be aware: no elevator!
There is a top floor lounge to chill with 360⁰ views of the city worth the climbing efforts!
Breakfast is served 7-10 (double check for changes and adaptations).
The neighborhood is nice. It is near several squares and the seafront where you can eat good fish (rest Dauphin).
The owner, also called Omar, is friendly and helpful too. Speaks English.
I am happy chooseI Afric Hotel.
SUGGESTION: it would be nice to have a WhatsApp number to be able to call for free fron outside Algerie.

I stayed one night at this hotel, but it was so terrible I couldn't bear to stay even for a minute. I requested to cancel the reservation, but it wasn't processed, and they didn't refund my money. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone this year; it's an awful hotel. Seriously, don't book here and don't go. The hotel is incredibly dirty; I'd say it's the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen in my life.

Gap under door allowed all sound from lobby and hall to get in .

Stayed here for 3 nights. Unfortunately hopper messed around with my friends booking. So he couldn’t stay with me. No fault to the hotel.
The breakfast was lovely but would prefer more Arab breakfast than French.
Roof top was a cool place.

Second leg of staying in the same hotel. This time I got a slightly better room. However I wiped my face with the hotel towel and was covered in cotton bits because the towel was such a poor quality.
