Hotel ABC is perfectly fine. A good location; walkable to most sights and near a stop on the metro. The wifi was good, as was the breakfast, and the hot water. The staff were friendly. The hotel itself is fine. It doesn't have any charm, but it is clean and functional. Given the lack of competitive hotels in Algiers and the cost, I think this is a good option without spending too much money.

Beautiful hotel located in the city center, a stone's throw from the Sacre Coeur in a very pretty, quiet and secure alley. Warm welcome, very professional and friendly staff, particularly the gentleman at reception who allowed us a late check-out. Simple, relatively varied and very good breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights in October, hotel very well placed for getting around Algiers center. Very pleasant welcome, very competent staff. Very clean hotel, despite its location in the city center, no outside noise. We will come back with great pleasure.

The hotel is very well located, a stone's throw from Avenue Didouche Morad and the metro station. You can visit on foot and eat on foot around the hotel. Very convenient central location. Pleasant modern hotel. Staff spoke adequate English. The included breakfast was pleasing.
If you use Google Maps, a note of caution. The government has changed the street name. Google still shows that the hotel is on Dujonchay Street, but if you're walking around (as I did) hunting for a street with that name on it, you'll waste a lot of time; the current street signs do not give the previous name.
Hotel staff referred me to an English-speaking guide for a nice all-day walking tour.
I was on Floor 5, and the hot water took a while to arrive, but was fine when it got there. The air conditioning worked fine.

Nice central hotel in central Algiers. Its a small hotel but well modern and well maintained and in a quiet part of the city centre. Check in was seamless and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. Overall good choice is want to be in the centre of things

Stayed here during our week’s tour of Algeria. The location is perfect in downtown Algiers and easy to walk everywhere you need to. Lots of restaurants, shops and attractions on your doorstep. The rooms are fairly basic, but quite comfortable, spacious enough and spotlessly clean. The lobby has an attractive appearance and all the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing; pretty limited in the choice of cold meats and cheeses, but probably sufficient for many people. We did have an issue with the plumbing in our room, but the staff were quick to try and resolve it. There’s plenty of hot water from the shower. The bar does not serve alcohol, but we found a few places nearby that do. Overall, a good value hotel with helpful staff in an ideal location.
