Book in the month of May hotel La Palmera in Alahurin el Grande (Malaga, Spain), the stay was in August. The reservation was made correctly with the ID number. The last week of July my family who lives there let me know that the hotel has been closed for a long time. I enter the agoda page with my ID and it tells me "there is no reservation with this ID"... What is my surprise that in the month of August AGODA charges me in my Visa the full amount of the stay (more than 400 €), I make a claim to AGODA and they answer me that since I have not presented myself, the hotel's policy is to charge the first night as a penalty. Let's see gentlemen, how am I going to introduce myself if I find the hotel door closed, if the policy says to pay a penalty night, why do they charge me all the distance? How does AGODA offer a hotel that is closed? Why, when they receive my claim, do they not check if it is true that it is closed and refund my money? Be careful when making reservations through them. Of course I will continue to fight to get my money back, including legal measures, I feel SCAMED!!!
