Meh, the hotel part of it was ok. There was debris all over the floor so who knows when the last vacuum ran through. Bedding was dirty, and the room itself was a little run down. I also thought the $35 parking fee was ridiculous for you to park your own car in the large empty parking garage across the street. The upside was the pool area for the kids to play and the lobby was nice. The fitness facilities looked nice but we didn't use them.

I and my wife are/were members of the sports club. Due to medical reasons, we had to cancel our membership. We were informed that we have to pay one more fee ($350!) for the month during which, we are not going to use the club. We thought since it is a private family owned club, their polices to rob members were going to be different than the rest of the pack, but not, the damage is even bigger due to their high membership prices...Very disappointed!

Do NOT stay here! They didn’t clean our bathroom at all! We found a used soap bar with hair on it in the shower! Also, not sure what the stains are on the blue bench but it’s pretty disgusting. Lastly, a stain on the desk chair where my partner was supposed to be working at. When we complained to the manager Michael, he was very unhelpful. We had to switch hotels and stayed at the Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano instead, which was a million times cleaner with friendly staff.

We stayed 3 nights & enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Some things were a bit worn-looking, it appears they are embarking on redecorating. The cafe had excellent service, the food was really quite good, inventive & tasty. We sat at the bar one night & played dominoes they had on hand while enjoying drinks & appies. On Saturday they had live music and it was really fun. The health club fitness center is state-of-the-art.
