Praia do Canal Nature Retreat

Beautiful hotel with all the trimmings in an idyllic setting, in the middle of nature. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. The food is very tasty and the breakfast is top notch. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful. A dream place to relax. We will definitely come back!

Die Unterkunft ist einmalig gelegen - abseits vom Massentourismus an der Algarve, mitten in der Natur. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich. Es werden verschiedene Aktivitäten vor Ort angeboten sowie eine Wanderkarte mit Routen in der Umgebung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und konnten super gut abschalten.

As minhas expectativas relativamente a este resort eram enormes mas acabou por ser uma enorme decepção. Apesar de ser um hotel 5 estrelas eu daria no máximo 3 porque apesar do espaço ser agradável, as falhas foram tantas que não tem justificação. As falhas vão desde ter o lavatório e o bidé entupidos até estar uma hora à espera de papel higiénico. Tendo ficado na suite mais cara ainda menos se justifica. Estou habituada a espaços deste nível, nunca em nenhum me arrependi do valor e a todos fiquei com vontade de voltar. Aqui tudo o que queria era ir embora e não voltar. A única coisa que é boa é a simpatia do pessoal. Mas a simpatia não dá 5 estrelas a um hotel. A não repetir.

Ruhe und Erholung. Kleines, aber schönes spa mit sauna und Dampfbad.zimmer sehr groß und schön mit Badewanne und dusche. Frühstück sehr gut. Freundliches Personal. Ich war sehr zufrieden.

We booked for 3 nights and checked into room 106 yesterday and are thinking about extending our stay for 1-2 more nights. The hotel does everything really well: friendly staff, minimalist decor, beautiful surroundings with lots of plants and trees and a very nice junior suite with lots of space. The gastronomy is brilliant and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired with good coffee, which is not a given at top hotels in Portugal. The pool is large and good for swimming. We would book the hotel again and we will probably stay here for more than 3 nights😊

WITHOUT WORDS... The experience was incredible, from the moment you arrive, at the reception itself, everything translates into an exquisite treat. A girl at the reception, I don't remember her name, but she was Argentine, welcomed us with great care and showed us all the possibilities of the hotel. The environment is wonderful, in the middle of a nature reserve. The bad thing is that we had a cloudy weekend, but that space with sun and blue sky must multiply the experience by a hundred, although ours was a luxury despite everything! The breakfast, frankly fascinating, everything taken care of, the most exquisite service. We met a very, very friendly Argentinian waiter, although the entire team was. Also the attention of the restaurant. We had a bottle of wine the night of our arrival and the lounge with the fireplace was delightful. The rooms were fascinating, we were in a superior double with sea views and it was fabulous. Large and comfortable bed. EVERYTHING GREAT But I want to make special mention of the SPA. The girl who served us, I don't remember her name, she was of oriental origin, she was very friendly. From minute one they make you feel in a space of peace and relaxation. My friend and I had a foot reflexology massage and a head massage. Frankly SENSATIONAL. Pedro and Gina (I think the girl's name was) attended to us and they were very professional. I have had many massages of this type in my life and I think these have been the best. It seems that they knew what they were doing and where they should play. Very professional and we left there wanting to return. THANKS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM of this hotel (reception, breakfast waiters, bar waiters, Spa professionals). You are great professionals and you know how to make the stay wonderful for people who choose your hotel. We will definitely return!!!

The place is outside the center, therefore very quiet and pleasant. The facilities are in good taste. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The cafe is well organized and there are good options, I just think it could have more options for plant-based diets, or at least be more informative. Anyway, be more careful. In the meantime, I ate well (there is plant-based milk for hot drinks, quality fruit and nuts). The room is spacious and there is a balcony with a beautiful view. The gym is small, but well equipped (there is a machine for lower limbs and two machines for upper limbs that work well, there are just no heavy free weights). The spa is good. However, it only works by appoin**ent, which despite being limited, makes it more organized.
