I arrived by train. The hotel is about ten minutes away from the train station. You can walk to the botanical garden and zoo, and the Sunset scene is about half an hour away.

Lovely place to stay very clean and affordable rooms and the people are lovely
Very close to fast food and shopping centre

The bed was comfortable but they had living residents which woke us up at 1 am in the morning drunk. Was ran down the aircon didn't work. Poor colour choice. Trucks using jake brakes through town. Never again

Had to wait ages at reception, receptionist arrive smelling of alcohol. Room was dirty, in a poor state of repair and very poorly decorated. Only good point was the powerful shower

I've been staying at motel lodge for a while and just came back last night and kat (I hope I spelt her name right) has once again been warm, welcoming and has gone above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. I enjoy coming back here, the rooms are clean, comfortable and they make us feel like motel lodge is our second home. These guys work so hard here in providing an enjoyable stay. Out of all the motels I've stayed at, motel lodge and the crew here have been by far my favourite so far! I highly recommend.

The room was nothing like shown in any pictures, neither was the outside area, front of building or the pool area. Photos are very outdated.
We had broken tiles, dangerous flooring ***** between beds area and kitchen area. Broken dispenser in shower. Light switches hanging off wall. Wires exposed between fan and roof, not secured safely or properly.
Wires hanging over bed from TV to power point.
Fan covered in dust and dirt. Shower, toilet and bathroom area dirty, not cleaned properly and mould was seen.
We both woke up covered in bites which we can only assume was bed bugs. We saw a few cockroaches wandering over the kitchen area and benches.
